Retrograde planets aren't necessarily bad--it depends of how you deal with those energies. Lots of successful people have significant retrograde placements. The unique challenges of retrograde energy can allow some people to be pretty creative and productive. The Sag guy I am crushing on has retorgrade Gem Mars. He's unbelievably productive in his work--nothing like you would expect from a Gem Mars. He can multitask like crazy and actually get a lot of work done--and still have energy to do more. I am in awe of his power to focus and to finish what he starts. For him I think the inward direction of his Gem Mars lets him be less scattered and less easily distracted than typical Gem Mars.
