I like Scorpio people in general because I oddly get along with them. Still, I find their energy to be very feminine in the sense that it's passive and subversive; it's never direct or out in the open, and it's always shrouded in mystery and hidden. Not all Scorpio people act like this as it depends on their chart. I just happen to know more Scorpio people who say I'm more Scorpio than them which makes me laugh as the only Scorpio planet I have is Uranus (which is supposed to be exalted).I understand and actually like this as my Mars is in the 8th house so I technically maneuver with a Scorpio flavor. I don't mind mystery as I love digging for everything and I'm very intuitive and have a below-the-surface MO. IP: Logged |

I agree that it's kind of a blend, though I see Scorpio women as having some masculine qualities, and vice versa for Scorpio men. The most interesting thing though, is that a lot of Scorpios are VERY attracted to masculine signs. I've literally never known a Scorp to be attracted to other water signs or even earth signs. You know what's funny, I sort of consider Capricorns to be a somewhat masculine sign too, given they share a ruler with Aquarius (aside from Uranus being Aqua's ruler) And now that I think about it, Scorpio men and women (particularly men) are very drawn tto Virgo placements. Didn't even think of that. And yes, Scorpios (especially women) LOVE air signs. Every Scorpio woman I ever known was married/in a relationship with an Aquarius, and if not that, a Gemini. The Taurus, Cappie and Scorpio energy I enjoyed most.

I stand corrected.  Interesting how you found Pisces/Cancer to be too soft. I won't keep making assumptions like I have been lol, but is water prominent in your chart? The earthiness is a complement to your Sun and Moon so I understand. Maybe it is just water signs then. It's just the Scorpio women in my life, one has been dating a Gemini for a while, and another has been married to an Aquarius for 18 years (and while probably not legit, have seen this pattern in a few celebs). Both have fire moons, if I have the correct dates of birth. Another was dating an Aries for a while. I known a Scorpio/Cancer couple but it was turbulent and they went their separate ways.
I didn't mean to make an unfair assumption though, based off of my small sample size. My apologies.

Not female at all, my mother is a Scorpio Sun and she's not what I consider feminine. Very masculine, they are ruled by Mars and Pluto.IP: Logged |

Two of the Scorpios I was closest to were very feminine...save they were neither soft nor submissive (though they pretended to be when it suited their purposes), they knew what they wanted and went for it...or more precisely they found ways to make what they wanted come to them. Unfortunately they could become coldly furious or depressed if they somehow failed to attract what they wanted.Another Scorpio I was close was androgynous both mentally & physically...offhand I'd say the fictional person she reminded of in attitude (and her being a no-BS coroner helped) was Dana Scully of the X-Files, at least if Dana were a Wiccan instead of a skeptic. I'll never forget that brilliant, razor-sharp mind she had... All 3 Scorpio suns were female, I never got to know a guy very well with such a sun. I did know one Scorpio male who had the same energy, however, but I wouldn't have called him feminine...perhaps "deceptively soft masculine" is the phrase I'm looking for. And most famous Scorpios I can think of offhand, male and female, seem to have something of that energy as described here as well. IP: Logged |
