For example, the first 7 Signs start off with one ruler. The first half of the Zodiac (Aries to Virgo) starts off pretty polarized.

It is in Libra that we start to see a switch. A Yang Sign ruled by a Yin planet. Then in Scorpio this continues, a Yin Sign ruled by a Yang Planet in the traditional and whatever Pluto is (did we ever figure this out?).

In Capricorn and Aquarius, we definitely notice this blending more.

And for some reason, people seem to forget that Pisces* is still very much co-ruled by the Yang Jupiter.

It is the Aquarius-Pisces and Pisces-Aquarius cusp that is the most blended/hermaphroditic point of the entire Zodiac. Not perfectly balanced and merged, as one doesn't see that until full conscious realization of one's true, Source origins and Source like nature. Aka the completely Clear/white Light consciousness, every major note/color/vibration all blended together in perfect harmony.

Anyways, my list would go like this:

Aries
Leo
Gemini (Gemini is a VERY ACTIVE Sign, activnesss is a Yang quality)
Libra
Sagittarius (though Jupiter it's ruler is indeed Yang polarized, it is fairly balanced being like one of the blended/mixed colors par excellence--purple)
Aquarius
Pisces
Capricorn
Scorpio
Virgo
Cancer
Taurus (the most passive [i.e. a Yin quality] Sign of the Zodiac, a Yin Sign and ruled by definitely Yin polarized Venus).

* The E.C. work didn't talk a whole lot about Signs overall, but occasionally did, and one time indicated that Pisces can be an indication of leadership and influencing others. That aligns to it's Jupiter and Yang side.

And when has Taurus become more feminine that Pisces? Pisces is the most feminine sign sorry

Masculine to Feminine

Masculine
More yang than yin
: All the fire signs have to be there because fire is uber masculine.
Aries: The first sign of the zodiac
Leo
Capricorn (the most masculine of the earth signs)
Saggitarius
Scorpio (the most masculine of the water signs)

Neutral:
Equal balance of Yin and Yang.
the following signs have gender bender qualities.
Aquarius
Gemini

Feminine: More Yin than Yang
Taurus
Libra
Virgo: The only sign represented by a woman.
Cancer
Pisces: the last sign of the zodiac.

It makes sense that the most masculine sign should be the first one on the zodiac wheel, Aries, and the most feminine sign should be the last one on the zodiac wheel, Pisces.

Starting from first principles here, assigning everything to the categories of yin/passive/receptive/negative/feminine/lunar/intuitive etc. yang/active/creative/positive/masculine/solar/rational qualities plus a true neutral state, I would consider fire the most yang, then air, then earth, then water. Fixed would be the most yang, mutable the most yin, cardinal in between. For planets, Sun/Mars/Saturn, Mercury/Uranus/Pluto, Moon/Venus/Neptune. And so on and so forth with rulerships, retrogrades, day vs. night charts, etc?
Or, in non-astrology terms— do you go grocery shopping with a list (yang), the munchies (yin), or a rough idea of what you need for the next few days (neutral)?

Edit: dang it, I forgot a whole planet. Sorry, Jupiter.

Taurus , Scorpio and Capricorn is not feminine, they’re more masculine , as they’re unyielding, aggressive , domineering and possessive
