I know Air Signs are not known for their physical prowess. No one ever pictures Gemini, Libra, or Aquarius as being an athletic power house.

Even among elements not known for being overly into sports and as physically strong such as Water and Earth, there is at least one sign that is a power house that they're comparable to the Fire signs in physical vigor and athleticism.

For Water Signs its Scorpio and for Earth Signs its Taurus. These two Rising Signs as being stronger than even the hearty Fire Signs in some form of physical strength (such as Taurus handsdown being the strongest sign in terms of brute strength and Scorpio having the most stamina and hidden reserves of strength).

But in statements of Rising Sign no one ever brings up an Air Sign when they picture a Physical Powerhouse.

So what Air Sign is the strongest in terms of physical conditioning naturally?

The closest answer I can find online is Aquarius Rising.

This is the only mentioned of Aquarius Ascendant being blessed with natural strength and stamina.

Nowhere else on the web have I found similar statments.

So my immediate guess is Aquarius Rising.

But I do seek more input. What Air Sign is traditionally considered the "strongest" (despite the Air Signs traditionally not being big into sports nor physical powerhouses)?

aquarians are tall so they can be physically large I suppose.

I have not met a lot of ripped aquarians thou.
A lot of them are on the slim side.

Gemini's are chameleon like, they never gain weight so they're usually slim.

Libra men tend to have nice aesthetically pleasing bodies, A lot of them become body builders. but not as much physical power as the other air signs.

I noticed that Scorpio and Taurus are fixed signs and so is Aquarius. Perhaps it's the stubborness/perserverance that gives the athletic ability. Here are some Aquarian sun athletes that you may have come across

Ruth, Babe (6 February 1895)
Robinson, Jackie (31 January 1919)
Aaron, Hank (5 February 1934)
Eusebio (25 January 1942)
Sandusky, Jerry (26 January 1944)
Papale, Vince (9 February 1946)
Krzyzewski, Mike (13 February 1947)
Prefontaine, Steve (25 January 1951)
Gretzky, Wayne (26 January 1961)
Jordan, Michael (17 February 1963)
Retton, Mary Lou (24 January 1968)
De La Hoya, Oscar (4 February 1973)
Rossi, Valentino (16 February 1979)
Crouch, Peter (30 January 1981)
Ronaldo, Cristiano (5 February 1985)
Golovin, Tatiana (25 January 1988)
