Do you have any information on aspect PATTERNS in synastry? I'm specifically looking for the Grand Cross (mutable). Has anyone out there first-had experienced with this pattern when comparing charts or know of any good links?IP: Logged |

I can't think of any specific links but I'd treat it like you would in a natal chart, except the "union" will be the place that the energy manifests. A grand square can indicate lots of challenges [but also a degree of stability because a big square is a solid shape, almost pins the chart in place] so it could be a relationship that has more than its fair share of obstacles but can still go the distance. [even if it's mutable or cardinal]With mutable specifically, it may mean that constant change occurs, and that's what makes it a challenge? IP: Logged |

I should've asked ~ is it composite charts or the aspects that form between two charts in regular synastry?IP: Logged |

Regular synastry and it's composed of a double venus-mars opposition (2-degree orbs on both) with both mars squared (4-degree orb)and both venuses squared (0-degree orb). Both individuals have venus-mars squared natally, which I think can be a GOOD thing since each would be used to the tension). The synastry also has a double mars-saturn trine (2-degree/3-degree orbs) which I'm thinking could be a way to release some of the tension from the grand cross? Also, the mars square actually goes from 0-degree CANCER to 27-degree VIRGO, so it throws in one cardinal planet into an otherwise mutable cross. What do you think?IP: Logged |
