Neptune/Venus in the first house brings illusions of love? Anyone have or know anyone with these placements?

I don't know anyone with both Neptune and Venus in their 1st house but Neptune in the 1st definitely tends to give a "dreamy" aura around the person who has it and usually people project a lot of stuff on them.. negative and positive.

Basically the ASC reflects how people see us, and what we tend to identify ourselves with.

So with Neptune/Venus in the 1st, the person is probably very idealistic in love, not realistic and prone to infatuation/idealization, and consequently are often disappointed/disillusioned. People can be easily drawn to them because they project a loving, vulnerable, ethereal vibe.

But yeah generally Venus/Neptune people have a lot to learn about "love" and review their ideas about it (be more realistic about it, less impressionable, for example).

I'd say any aspect, but the flowing aspects "learn" their lessons more easily/readily. Of course anyone can get burned in love, it happens to all of us but the thing with Venus/Neptune people is that they tend to brush it off and fantasize about the "perfect" guy or gal anyway which ultimately brings disappointment (they usually have high expecations, borderline impossible ones). They rely too much on the idea of love and being loved for their sense of happiness, but of course with time and experience many of them are able to channel that energy into creative pursuits and/or spiritual practices.
