Hi AllWhat synastry aspects would make someone be infatuated then after a short while ether hate/be very irritated with them? I've really liked some people then a short while later have a very adverse feeling to them bordering on hate/anger. When I checked the synastry there was always ether my mars square their sun/mars. The ones that I just felt indifferent to never had these aspects with me. What have you found in synastry that you just know has been the cause of the irritation/hate? It's never just about the synastry, you need to consider your own chart as well. Some natal aspects incline a person to do the love/hate thing, especially (from my personal experience) venus square mars. Then if those planets are involved in the synastry, it can set off the love/hate because the synastry can be "flowing" with one planet in your natal square and "challenging" with the other planet in your natal square. This isn't necessarily a bad thing if you're also the type that would get bored easily in a relationship and need a bit of tension to keep you interested.IP: Logged |

In my experience a transit can change a relationship from good to bad even if the synastry is strong. IP: Logged |

I've noticed in synastry that folks I have a lot of conjunctions with...it goes from intense love to intense hate (and sometimes back to intense love again).In general I think if you have any kind of intense synastry with someone, whether it's lots of conjunctions, or a lot of Pluto aspects, that the potential is there for those intense feelings to eventually turn negative, it kinda comes with the territory. Umm Mars afflicted in synastry, definitely! Especially in hard aspect to Mars, Saturn, and Pluto.
Afflicted Pluto and Saturn can have the same effect. IP: Logged |

I was just gonna say sun square mars! This is THE aspect imo, at least for me, because my natal chart is very mellow (no squares). The most extreme case is what I´m going through at the moment with this guy. I agree with other posters that intense charts in general tend to go both ways, especially if scorpio is involved. I also think sun opposite moon could be one of those aspects, but I´m not sure how it would differ from sun square/opposite mars. Any thoughts? IP: Logged |

Sun opposite moon in syanstry has not been a problem with me, the people just seem to leave my life very peacefully and I have no anger/hate towards them, nor hate from them to me  IP: Logged |
