I understand this relationship but in wondering how the author came to that conclusion. The Declaration was signed on July 4th so wouldn't the U.S. be Cancerian? In the same book I read Ireland in Poland are ruled by Taurus. If you have any info about which signs rule which countries and why, please share! IP: Logged

Astrodatabank has a few. Then various rulership books have listings for countries. The Gemini for the U.S. would have to do with the communications emphasis. Any chart for the U.S. worth anything will have a strong Gemini influence, the debate is over where in the chart that is. For example the Sibley chart has Uranus in Gem at the DSC. IP: Logged
