Hello. How would you describe your humor and what in your chart is behind it? I'm thinking mercury or 3rd house or 5th house? I love double entendre, puns, word play, but some of the funniest moments have been of the slapstick variety (and OUCH those hurt!). I've also gotten laughs doing cat impersonations and physically acting out things with movement and facial expressions. I've got Sagittarius on the 3rd house cusp, Aquarius on the 5th, and Mercury in Aquarius in trine to Mars and opposed to Uranus. I think it's the Mars aspect behind the physical humor and the 3rd, 5th and Mercury placements behind the verbal stuff. Please share what kind of humor you like best and what astrological factors you think are behind it. IP: Logged |

Anything that a horny pimply 15 year old boy would find funny. I like Dave Chappelle...the tv show "Martin", dirty jokes, bathroom humor, silly stupid stuff, and shocking, politically-incorrect "blue" humor.Mercury sextile Jupiter and quintile Pluto. IP: Logged |

Aries on the cusp of the 3rd, and Gemini on the fifth. I don't really think they do it because my sense of humor is admittedly too vulgar immature and goofy for it to be a Gemini or Aries thing.

9gag humor, humor with wit, style and perfect comedic timing (see Ellen Degeneres) pretty much describes the type of humor that I like. As for the type of humor that I exude, I'd describe it as the spontaneous kind. I'm not the typical class clown, however. My humor only goes so far to my closest friends. Mercury in Sag, 6th house. Virgo Jupiter in the 3rd, Scorpio sun, mars and pluto tighy conjunct in the 5th. IP: Logged |

You say "class clown" like it's a bad thing. Usually they're hilarious. I used to have classes in high school with like three or four of them in one room and they'd get going and have the entire room in stitches. An example of the type of humor I like : I was reading a fan forum for a musician one day, and in the General section they were talking about sex or something. This guy told a story about how he was boinking some asian girl and he said that she farted in mid-screw, and she played it off by immediately saying, "Front hole so happy, back hole whistle". This book kills me.The pictures. The author's comments, especially.  
"Christmas trees are green" is where the factual portion of your artwork ends:
-People don't float.
-The tree looks like a mushroom.
-The tree's center of gravity would cause it to fall over due to the way it's leaning.
-The ground is lumpy.

I love double entendres, puns, and word play as well. Also, anything stupid and silly is hilarious to me such as the show Family Guy, or if I happen to trip up the stairs, I'll laugh rather than get angry or embarrassed even if people are laughing at me, but, the silliness can't be too corny, or else I'll just shake my head in embarrassment. My third house is Gemini, and my Venus in Gemini is there. Venus is unaspected. Mercury is in Cancer in my 4th house, Opposite Uranus, Saturn, and Neptune, Trine Pluto, and Conjunct my Sun and Chiron. Id also like to point out that I have Jupiter in Cancer in my 5th house, Conjunct my Sun, Mercury and Chiron, Opposite Saturn. i think that more often than not, laughter comes easy to me because of Jupiter. Black comedy, satire, witty/clever. Sarcasm is often funny to me as well. Timing is very important as is the delivery.Sun/Mercury in Cap sextile Pluto in Scorpio in the 5th

Nope, I didn't mean it that way. What I was trying to say is, I'm not the class clown type and I have never been. When faced with a large group of people, my sense of humor isn't the type to shine through, unlike the class clowns. But when I'm with my close group of friends, I tend to release that spontaneous side of me. I love them because they're fun.. I never said something about it being a bad thing. IP: Logged |
