Topic: NN vs SN synastry

what do you guys think about this? which do you like better in synastry?SN feels good and comfortable but after sometime, atleast in my experience i outgrow the person and want to leave the relationship for something better, grass is always greener on the other side type thing, too comfortable, lazy relationship, not exciting lol ok now NN feels amazing!!! makes me want to be a better person for myself and for my partner, you really do truly feel like your going somewhere with that person cause they improve your sense of self, strive you to be the bedt you can be in my opinion NN in synastry is the best over SN, but my natal chart also favors my NN so i could be biased here if one has alot of aspects towards SN they might like SN synastry a lot more NN conjunct venus synastry...love 
which do you guys prefer?

Oddly enough my North Node is almost never activated in synastry. My Moon tends to land on a lot of folk's North Node, but mine usually doesn't get any action. My South Node usually doesn't either. So I can't even speak on it from a personal perspective. I just know that I've read that people tend to prefer South Node contacts, because it feels comfortable and it's what they know. IP: Logged |

Well I must say these South Node conjunctions freel pretty damn good.
I never had them before, always NN-conjunctions .. and although I'll keep remember them till I die I'm really ready to *RELAX!* Venus/SN conjunction (1*) - me Venus.
Jupiter/SN conjunction (1,5) - me SN. (me; Mars/NN conjunction natal - if an orb of 5 is allowed here + Sun/SN conj. orb 7 + the closest of all; Moon/Node square orb 2). Conclusion; an equal involvement of both sides. IP: Logged |

I also think it depends on the natal chart.
My theory is however thi when it comes to the nodes and romantic love:South node is about true belonging with someone. It probably feels more intense, especially if your natal chart is SN influenced. But the North node points to your soul-mate, that is - the person that will teach you lessons, make you dvelop other aspects of your awareness, make you grow, and so on. You will be drawn to people who make aspects with your NN, especially if you are a young soul and have alot to learn. But eventually in your last life time, you will be drawn to the one who activates your SN, because you are ready to "come home". Both are equally important, just at different stages in our spiritual evolution/life. That´s just a theory of mine..

What about NN conjuncyion NN?Can it make up for alot of SN contacts, so that the two people won´t feel like they´ve outgrown eachother? IP: Logged |

nvm lol i just got my answerits the stepping stone between both nodes, so its helpful for the NN/SN person to grow but not as helpful as if somebody was conjuncting nonethless you still learn, i feel like its less strong than conjunct/opposition aspect would be IP: Logged |

I've outgrown all my NN-connections. In fact we were never ever on the same level. It's just that I couldn't see it or maybe that I needed the tension to only see I was fighting a losing battle. IP: Logged |

I had someone's sun conjunct my south node exactly at zero degrees. I had to leave him because he was a bad influence on me...I kinda always knew that I deserved better than him. Plus his lifestyle was going to lead me down the wrong path. NN synastry, I have most of these with my closest friends...I have grown alot from these friendships. For me, SN holds me back & NN helps me grow. I prefer the NN synastry. It can be painful sometimes, especially with the squares but you learn alot. SN synastry, it's comfortable yes, but staying in that friendship or relationship does not do me any good . IP: Logged |
