I am talking about people who upon meeting them, your life took another turn for the better or worse. They somehow really affected you emotionally, psychologically etc..
The point is they left a mark on your life, whether they're still in it, or ever was in it at all.

I know that as human being anyone close to us leave his/her mark on us. That's how we develop. But here I am more referring to people who aren't necessarily close to you but upon meeting them they triggered something in you that made you took decisions that turned your life around.

First what kind of relationship soul wise do we have with these people ? Is it karma?
Why do they come into our life?
What do you think the synastry with such people involve?

In my opinion, such connections are karmic.
Some people call them "karmic soul mates". They come into our lives in order to show us something about ourselves. They touch us deeply, for that is the only way we can look inside ourselves and grow spiritually.

These connections don't usually last, because once their purpose is completed, the relationship/connection dissolves.

Of course many times what happens is that the person is no longer in our life but the psychic/emotional bond is intact.

I think it's important to cut every bond with that person so that you can clear the karmic debts related to them.

Unfortunately, a lot of people have a hard time cutting the bond completely and the connection lingers in their soul. They are not free of it, and it perpetuates more karma.

In that sense, I make a difference between "soul mates" and "karmic soul mates" - to me the former are positive connections with people that help us grow in a relatively easy way, whereas the latter are difficult associations which very often leave us very hurt/confused.

The purpose of such connections is self-development, self-knowledge and evolution of the soul. Awakening of the consciousness is the goal, in my opinion.

Synastry wise, in my experience:

strong Saturn
Node contacts
tight aspects - conjunctions, oppositions and squares in particular
12th house and sometimes 8th

Thanks this is very informative. I had been looking around for articles who would describe such "encounters" but in vain

What do you mean exactly by the psychic/emotional bond being intact? Is it because the person still holds on to the memories of the person? Or i it something they can't help? How does one cut the bond and clear the karmic debt so as to not perpetuate more karma?

That's what I have a hard time understanding actually. I always thought karma was a way to get even with someone. a sort of "pay back". I also thought karma was associated with lessons and learning them. As people that find themselves in difficult relationship but in the end they learned a great deal not only about themselves but about reparations and others.
Here it seems like there isn't a clear lesson. They come, affect you, and you make changes in your life following that encounters. They sort of put you on another track, another path. What kind of karma is this?

Both of these people have affected me in a really positive way. The one on the left is someone I have known for a long while now - so he's not just someone I met. He has changed me so much though - my view on things in general and relationships. And I definitely ended up on a completely different path after having met him.

The second was in my life for a 'season' or a reason?... not for a really long time. Knowing him drastically changed my goals and career though. I made some decisions I would've never made without him... and they turned out to be really positive.

As Doux was saying - there are several Saturn and NN contacts happening!!

It's really great if they both helped you make change for the better !!
It's funny how both their saturn trines yours. and how they bot have venus-pluto hard aspect natally!
And yes there are node and saturn contacts, which indicates karma and growth.

I don't how you feel about those people. But I personally don't feel comfortable with the idea that I've been "stupid" enough to be affected that much. I'm not being judgmental here. It is just the way I see things. It took me a long time to admit that yes, indeed I had been so caught up into things and made decisions I would very probably never have made, had I never met this person. I thought it was a change I had initiated myself (and regarding transits, all of my personal planets and angles were touched by the saturn-pluto-uranus t square at the time). Because anyway I never listen to anyone even when people mean well and am rather fixed in my choices when they concerned me.
So well, let's say it annoys me. I wonder who the hell were those people (or actually this person) ? Why did I meet them? The whole thing left me more drained, sad and lonely than ever. And I don't even know where it's going to lead me in the end.

I don't understand how karma works. I'm not even sure I believe in past lives so I don't really understand kamra being worked out between people you don't know/ haven't done anything to

You're welcome.

Yes, if you keep thinking about the person or if you keep strong feelings toward them. Like holding a grudge, being sad, feeling in love, etc. Cutting the bond really means letting go, for good. You release the person and any feeling you have for them. I wouldn't say you stop carning.. it's more like, you accept whatever happened and decide not to put any more energy into them or memories related to them. Praying, focusing on other things (like your own self-development) and anything else that can help you move on, is what's needed.

No, you are actually right.
Karma involves learning, obviously.
If you don't learn, how can you change?
Change usually comes after you become aware of something, and that something is triggered by someone.

I don't think I believe in past lives.. But I do think there's some sort of karma. It's all mysterious but I do think there's a cause and effect law.

So, to me, we meet people who are on our way for a purpose. They teach us something. And it's up to us to learn that "lesson" or not. That's why we see so many patterns in our lives - a lesson needs to be learned and until it is done, we tend to attract similar experiences/feel the same way about something. The most rewarding experiences are the most karmic and intense, because their lessons are usually quite important (like loving yourself, setting personal boundaries, etc).

probably got to talk to this guys 6 times but i felt instantly attracted to him. locked eyes at first sight, actually everytime we talked we locked eyes lolol he was so into me that it actually felt uncomfortable at first, probably because i wasnt happy with myself at the moment but i definately felt so attracted, it was heavenly

his told me he"ll never forget those moments even though they were few, and its been yearssss.

his trying to work something out though again after all these years!!!!!!! something inside me feels like its just unfinished, like i didnt get to love him enough and i need to love him more!!!!! but our situation is so complicated :/ makes me think we really were only suppose to exchange our energies at that point of time and thats it until our next lifetime, if he hadnt started talking to me again i wouldve been okay, but the more i talk to him the more my feelings come back and now its like our relationship cant be ignored anymore....are we forming karma now?!?!?!
