Hey so my sun is below the horzon on my chart. What does this mean? How does it affect my chart?

I have a night chart with my sun in the 4th. For me that just means that I love to spend a lot of time at home. In which house, 1-6, does your sun lie?

I thought there were 12 houses i think my sun is in the 4 th house also

There are 12 houses, but houses 1-6 are below the horizon (night houses) and 7-12 are above the horizon (day houses).

Do you find you like to stay at home to recharge, like that's the place where you can truly be yourself, where you "shine"? That would likely be your 4th house sun being expressed; that would by how having a "night chart" impacts you in the most general sense. Of course, aspects to the sun and strong emphasis on another house and the placement of your moon would modify that.
