Ok! Quick question for all you out there who are very familiar with synastry charts & aspects. To find out in what houses does another persons planets fall in

Example: X's sun in Ys 5th house

Do you absolutely need to have time of birth? I'm looking some synastry up only have all of 1 persons info & other person I have no time of birth for, so would this make the synastry chart off by much?

If you want to take into consideration houses (which you should, because the house positions are very important and can change the whole synastry) you absolutely need birth time .

To see house overlays both ways you need the time of birth of both partners. If you only have one person’s birth time you can see where the other partner’s planets fall into the former’s houses.

For example if you have X’s birth time, you can see where Y’s planets fall into X’s chart. Unfortunately you can’t see Y’s houses because depending on the time they shift.

The house person is the one who perceives the planet person. Meaning you can see how Y affects X.

Astro.com has a great chart generator. In the side menu go to Horoscope Drawings & Calculations/Extended Chart Selection and in the drop menu choose Synastry chart (2)
