Is your Sun in the 12th house? How do you think it affects you in regard to 12th house things?------------------

Oh hey.
I have a 12th house sun in Capricorn. (Conjunct Neptune.)I think it makes me more Pisces-like.
I think the world I see with my eyes is to me not necessarily the world I am living in at any given moment.
I have had trouble with drugs and alcohol and forms of escape in general.
I feel a deep to connection to everything at times.
It is hard for me to get close to people in a more practical way, however. IP: Logged |

Wow, you have a double Neptune influence here. Now that you know you are drawn to drugs and alcohol can you make an effort to really give them up? I hope you can because you will live longer. One of my son's has a Moon/Neptune aspect and he tries to escape the hurts of life by drinking too. What he is just now coming to realize is... when he sobers up, the problem is still there. ------------------

Thankfully I haven't had a drink or abused drugs since February 27th, 2010.I'd like to look back and see what was going on at that time in terms of transits actually since it was so life altering.

I completely relate to bridgetostars23.Sun in Sag in the 12th I have escapist tendencies and habits
I have a strong need for solitude/alone time.
I'm VERY private and have many secrets
I guard my privacy like it's gold
I'm very imaginative and sensitive
I don't let others too close to me

Yep and I relate to what you just said starfairy.I really forgot to stress the inability to really know who I am, what I like, etc because everything is so flowing and relative sometimes. IP: Logged |

I have 12th house Sun conjunct 12th house Neptune/Uranus/Mercury and Moon square Neptune. I can relate to other posters about drugs and alcohol. I used drugs and drank quite often from the age of 15 to 17. Completely quitted using drugs at 18 and quitted drinking at 19. I used to be a bit of an emotional sponge, other people’s energy could affect me very easily. But as I grew up I learned to set up boundaries, I’m still sensitive to the suffering of others, but it doesn’t have a negative effect on me anymore. I read somewhere that 12th house Sun can mean problems with the father. It’s quite true for me. I always wanted my father’s attention and protection but didn’t get enough of both. Looking at the bright side, I attribute my rich imagination and pleasant dreams to these 12th house planets

Sun in 12th sometimes means loss of a father whether physical or emotional.I have sun in gemini in the 12th and north node in cancer too. ------------------
