This lady is 96 years old. She just gave up driving last year. She still does her own yard work but is finally beginning to slow down. To what do you attribute her longevity?  She has not had an easy life either. She worked and raised two children at the same time as a divorced mom. Sometimes she had more than one job at a time. ------------------

Hi!As far as working and that relentless spirit, I would say the moon conjunct saturn in cancer. Moon/Saturn placement (in my opinion) give people drive and the ambition to achieve because they feel like they often have something to prove. In cancer, this may be an emotional need for her absolutely and give her a sense of emotional fulfillment. Additionally, an Aries Ascendant likes to take initiative w/o excuses, and the Virgo sun likes to make sure things are done right! IP: Logged |

I have a sun trine from Saturn too and will probably live to be 500 with the help of new advances in cryonics considering it's from the eighth house to house eleven. I plan to be a revolutionary who advances mankind.IP: Logged |

You got her down pat. She never sits and relaxes. She is outside today picking up sticks and raking and sweeping. She has more energy than I do. When she was younger her house was spotless, now she has trouble reaching high up so can't dust like she used to. IP: Logged |

My thoughts are that Jupiter and Pluto harmonious aspects might point to a long life. Jupiter brings abundance an Pluto is the natural ruler of the 8th. I'm going to look up some famous oldies and see if I can find a pattern. She also has a harmonious aspect to her Saturn from her Sun. Strange because those are about the only good ones she has!!!I have to confide she is a miserable woman. We don't get on at all. She comes to my house and rearranges my things, tells me where to put things, yells at me if I don't put something away... tells me which lights to put on or off. Ugh! She is a real witch with a capital B. Thank goodness she is also independent and refuses to go live with anyone (whew). She stubbornly says, "they'll carry me out of this house, I'm not leaving any other way." IP: Logged |

It's her eighth house ruler making a positive aspect to Jupiter. Jupiter or Saturn in the 8th can make for a long life anyway. In aspect to the eighth house ruler seems like it would indicate the same thing.IP: Logged |

I think ARies describes her. She is fiery, redhead, active. I had to start somewhere. I have moon in Cancer in the 4th so knowing it I feel hers is in the 4th as well. But without the birthtime this can all be conjecture. I wish I knew how to do rectifications. IP: Logged |

Well if Saturn is longevity she certainly has signs of this in her chart!She has a tight Virgo Sun/Cancer Moon sextile, with Saturn conjunct her Moon and sextile her Sun exactly. IP: Logged |
