I'm a metal monkey (Pisces Sun) married to a fire snake (Gemini Sun).I can't say that we had a problem being too guarded with one another - we actually almost immediately opened up. Even when dating, time would fly past (we called it our black hole - even time cannot escape!). There was a deep and sudden comfort between us. It's still there. Oddly, as soon as we sit down together we both relax (and because we're over 30 and have children, that means we almost immediately start to fall asleep on each other ) Edited to add: To address your op, physical consummation happened pretty quickly (to his shock ) and was/is intense. ------------------ If I've included this sig, it's because I'm posting from a mobile device. Please excuse all outrageous typos and confusing auto-corrects. IP: Logged |

Well, it wasn't immediate-immediate, but like a month and a half after meeting.Ok, so pretty fast by some standards, not so much by others. But we were only "dating" for like half a month of that time, the rest of it was spent as obnoxiously close colleagues. And those two weeks (and every week after until we moved in together), we usually spent from 8 or 9pm - 1 or 2 am on the phone (after being at work together all day). The emotional intimacy wasn't predicated upon physical intimacy, but the physical intimacy sure seemed like something *I* didn't want to wait for (then again, it had been nearly two years since I was last *cough* physically intimate with anyone). Edited to add: And not to play into stereotypes, but I have a Scorp Asc, Leo Mars, and 5th House Sun - I saw him, wanted him, and pounced ------------------ If I've included this sig, it's because I'm posting from a mobile device.
