my brother and his gf (7 years): Pisces and Pisces

Aquarius + Scorpio (with a bunch of Libra) (married as teens through the death of the husband in his 60s; the wife never remarried. I only knows them when they were older - grandparents - but they still seemed genuinely in love, even if they bickered )

Pisces Sun/Saggie Moon/Cancer Asc + Libra Sun/Cancer Moon/Virgo Asc (divorced after 21 years; unpleasant for all involved for the last 5 or so. There were apparently a number of "indiscretions" from both parties throughout. The man still has strong feelings for the woman another 20 years after divorce. The woman seems over him.)

Leo Sun/Pisces Moon/Libra Asc + Gemini Sun (rest unknown) (Second marriage for both, 30s for wife, late 40s for husband - married until the husband died in his early 90s; there was genuine love, but more "formal" than my other grandparents. My grandmother had to be careful about what she said around my grandfather - he would get her literally *anything* she mentioned wanting.)

Virgo Sun/Scorp Moon/Aqua Asc + Scorp Sun (rest unknown) (married 5 years, *tumultuous*)

I'll add my marriages to the list as well:

Pisces Sun/Aqua Moon/Scorp Asc/Taurus Venus/Leo Mars + Aqua Sun/Taurus Moon/Saggie Asc/Aqua Venus/Pisces Mars (married for 5, though the last year was a separation proceeding divorce; a pretty awful marriage throughout; the husband ended the marriage while deployed to Iraq)

Pisces Sun/Aqua Moon/Scorp Asc/Taurus Venus/Leo Mars + Gemini Sun/Saggie Moon/Taurus Asc & Merc/Aries Venus/Aries Mars (going on 5 years into a really wonderful marriage)

The ones I come across the most, in my personal and professional life.

1. Leo and Aquarius (nicely balanced though both can be stubborn)
2. Aries and Aquarius (compatible but argue a lot)
3. Aries and Gemini (both are the life of the party, fun couple to be around)
4. Capricorn and Cancer (very balanced, this is a great match)
5. Libra and Libra (it's like looking in the mirror and they have someone just like them to do everything with)

i never meet other capricorn men or even earth sign men- they seem to have zero interest me in- also older men- seems to be mostly younger men wh oare fire signs taht like me...

If theory is based on real life, theories should change to reflect what is happening now?

My thinking, with regards to the Gemini/Scorpio thing as well as the Leo/Capricorn vibe is;

Maybe the Scorpion has Sagittarian placements, but not too much(the Sun is an overwhelming placemnt) as to drive the Gemini crazy with the oppositional friction.

And likewise, Scorpio could see the Gemini retaining lovable Taurian traits that are far from bullyish stubborness but prone to more flexibility and logic.

A lot of female Scorpions I've known are drawn to Gemini Men. A lot.

The Leo likes the playful energy of Sag, but also recognizes that it has a tint of unwarranted "disrespect" etc. So the "wise old owl" approach of dignified Capricorn retains the regal nature of Sagittarius placements, but without the irritation?

And likewise, the Capricorn loves the confidence and "can do" attitude of Leo, but also sense the nalstagic and very enchanting echoes of the Cancerian placements beneath all that bravado?

Conventional astrology should re-write the books in order to reflect statistics today.

I was smitten with a Gemini, once. And we did get along splendidly, but it was never anything more than friendship because I didn't feel like there was enough *feeling* there. Haha, leave it to a pisces to bring up feelings

I think Geminis are super fun, we just don't click on a deep relationship level. Yes, Pisces like space, but in a different way than Gemini. Pisces feels everything while Gemini thinks and in the end the Pisces can feel a bit neglected emotionally.

If the Sun is as "powerfull" as deemed, then surely people who have Sun in squares and semi-sextile, should not be able to stay together for so long?

That's funny Maelstrom, I can immediately think of those couples you haven't experienced. My Scorpio sis is so happy with her Pisces man for instance but....they have Moons conjunct in Leo and that is a lovely conjunction to share.
