Mine has been conjuncting sun in 7th house for a few months now. (Natal Sun at 11 degrees capricorn widely conjunct neptune and jupiter, Leo on 3rd house)
My sun also aspects almost everything in my chart including Moon, Venus, Mars, Pluto. So am not sure how this transit would express itself.

Wonder what other people's experiences have been? How much would house placement matter?

And how does retrograde pluto differ from direct pluto hitting the sun?

Hmmmmm. I find with any big transit is to sit back and observe what comes up in your life. Is it more of the sun sign traits you are seeing? Is there a change in relationships? (Venus) A change in feelings? (Moon) A change in drive and energy? (Mars) Do you feel a deep internal transformation of the self?

In my life, I have dealt with the opposition and the square. But those aspects are EXTREMELY different from the conjunction. I can only describe the square and opposition transit experiences. So I just chat about Pluto aspects in general here.

Key word for Pluto is to transform and to regenerate. Kind of like a Phoenix coming up from the fire....

That's my 2 cents worth. Best thing again is to sit back and observe what is coming up.
