oh and btw you donīt stop "being" your natal, the progressions will just add some other nuances.

For example:
my natal Venus is in Capricorn, my progressed Venus is in Aquarius.

I am maybe a bit more relaxed version of my Cappy-Venus than I was some years before, but of course this is still a Cappy Venus.

my natal Moon in Aquarius - my proressed Moon has JUST entered Cancer.
It had my Aqua Moon going: "whoa, wait a moment, what`s that all at once? I am actually .... feeling? Caring? Needing affection? whoa, not so quick, I need to get home and analyze this new thing living in me."

Nah, it is not really that bad (Aqua Moon actually feel very deeply; they just can`t deal with it).

The chart that's totally progressed is much sadder

Most of my good has been replaced by bad.

My sun progressed into Libra, moon Sagittarius and ascendant Scorpio.

I am 18 years old! Baby, I know...
My natal Sun is at 16 Scorpio. My progressed Sun is at 4 Sagittarius, where it was 18 days after I was born.
My natal Mars is at 18 Leo. My progressed Mars is at 25 Leo, where it was 18 days after I was born.

It's the same with my other natal placements; a progressed chart is where the planets were after a certain amount of time, in reference to current age.

When my moon progressed into Taurus, natal 4h, I started spending most of my time at home, doing nothing. When I moved away from my parents, I felt homesick.

I know what you mean by 'bad' looking... all those red marks? I'd been living like that with an extreme smear of T-square... with rx-Chiron moving ever so slowly over my ascendant and now into the 12th House. And keeping its opposition to my 6th house sun the entire time!!

As planets changed signs, I had improvements I think--- my sun got out of water into more fire, which was very clarifying for me and my chart. Got out and moving away from PrUranus-Sun cj in Cancer also with venus-mars there in sixth too.

PrJupiter was "synchronistically" jumping into my P-6th over the past couple weeks, and somewhere it "met" transiting Jupiter through the same crossing over the DESCENDANT.

I have a Jupiter-ruled chart.

What happened is that my left hip got a dislocation-- so weird... I don't even remember "how" that happened!!

(Still painfulness when walk or sleeping, but now improving !!)

Doctor was in disbelief how "locked" my hip was in the displacement. The chiropractic crunch-cure felt strong... but at least now I hope I am on the curing side... arrrgh! and yikes!

This happened as tr GemJupiter stationed and went direct. It crossed my 6th house sun in gemini in my natal chart, and now has cleared into natal 7th house.

What gave me courage about "red-charts" was looking at some of the old astrologers's charts... When I saw their "red" natal charts, and how they stepped forward to make this world a better place, (even making history), then I thought there is hope for me yet!

I've been studying without a teacher... so I feel VERY LUCKY and glad that I found some very sound grounding practical astrology advice on youtubes, and from finding old astrology books at used book stores.

I find much instruction and solace in flowing through the times, listening to daily, weekly, monthly reports, and their takes on what's going on with the sky and planets through transits.

It's like reading medical books-- you start getting scared you have every disease in the book... With "red" mark aspects in astrology, you could begin to feel like everything is doom....

Takes steadying of the nerves and some level-headed friends here at LL to help us navigate all the river bends in learning about features of our charts. It's not 'all' bad?.... (sometimes yikes!!!!) but we can DO this... together!

Just a note: There are parts of astrology I feel I may have a grasp on, and others I have yet to learn. I haven't focused on synastry a lot yet and that's why you haven't 'seen' me participating a lot on these threads. (I've learned most about certain asteroids... and their transits now.)

I want to participate more as things in my life settle for me. There are times people will pose a question (like what causes shyness). THEN, I'll run across an answer in reading some of my books... but then it's WAY to late to answer. See?

(shyness... Saturn in Scorpio in 11th House, was one answer I found too late.)

I don't want to give people the idea that I know MORE than I do.... but I am finding that I know more than I thought I did!?? still growing here....
