If that's what you call screwed, then we're all really screwed! The only thing I see that may cause trouble is the square to Saturn and NN. Meaning: your self-esteem plays a major role in your relationships, creative pursuits and life goals. If you're insecure, you'll tend to meet with a lot of issues in the romance department, and focusing too much on love/feelings/appearance can distract you from reaching your full potential (NN). But your Venus is angular (MC!) and trine ASC, plus it conjuncts your Mars. That's a strong Venus, there! I'm sure you can work out any issues surrounding it just fine.

aww thanks doux reve that was reassuring to read-i think the toughest is the venus square saturn- its pretty tight square like 0.5 degrees! i dont know i think right now im feeling sensitive - im an optimist and i think anything can be worked out with the right attitude- i can definitely see that i can blow hot and cold with men and want commitment but am scared to commit myself- i need to change that and just learn to go with the flow
eta- i have venus semi sextile jupiter as well to soften things a bit- woops forgot that... so i guess jupiter is crucial since i have positive aspects between both venus and saturn to jupiter (in capricorn 8th house) and my descendant is in sagitarius ruler of jupiter... any ideas? IP: Logged |

You're welcome!Oh I know how nasty Venus square Saturn can be! I have it in the progressed chart, although fortunately I don't feel it much. Jupiter ruling your DSC and semi-sextile Venus: that's not a big deal, actually a semi-sextile is not a major aspect and I wouldn't consider it supportive per se, but it's not negative either. It does connect your need for partnership (DSC ruler) with love, values and aesthetics (Venus), and Saturn being in aspect to both of them probably makes it easier for you to consider long-term relationships with loyalty and commitment on the menu - however, Saturn being square Venus, it may take some time before you can adjust the energies and feel truly content in relationships. Jupiter in a flowing aspect to Saturn will be helpful in dealing with life issues, generally ~

thanks yah i do find it challenging the square but there are other harmonizing aspects so its ok also once you learn your lessons saturn does reward right? i have alot to learn especially venus in aquarius square saturn in scorpio - its like the desire for freedom in love and experiences v deep buried emotions so the tendency to blow hot and cold comes out... Yw Ahah, Saturn and the rewards.. Well, yes, I think it does. But it usually takes a lot of time/trials to get there. To get to a point where you can finally say "this doesn't bother me anymore" and actually feel good about whatever former issue there was. But yes, you can work with Saturn for sure. Self-awareness and the courage to change are key. IP: Logged |
