What aspects in a chart make people uptight. And with that I mean that they hardly ever make time to enjoy the moment. There is always something they "have to do". And even if that's done it surely isn't good enough and the next "have to do" in an urgent and strict way is already waiting...
Would Virgo be involved? And saturn perhaps? (I'm almost sure my Taurus moon is asking this question, lol) IP: Logged |

I was like this until I went to university. I was a very successful student but never content with myself. Then I realized it was affecting my health, being so perfectionist, so ý learned to let go a little.I have mars in virgo, and my saturn is in scorpio in 5th. Maybe that was it. I sometimes still can't let go completely, it's a struggle for me because I also have sun and pluto in scorpio in 5th and I love having fun and letting go.

i have no problem admitting to it, I am that person you speak of....Saturn in Virgo opposite Sun and Mars.It aint easy....... IP: Logged |

The people I've known who could fit your description have Mars in the 6th and Mars or Sun in Virgo (surprisingly, I haven't noticed Virgo Moons to be that way). IP: Logged |

Thanks! Really interesting. I have Mars in Virgo too though. But is is in the 5th house with Leo at the cusp & I am only a perfectionist when it comes to work I put my heart in and I always make time to play (unless if there is a really tight deadline (and then I am annoyed because of missing the fun, lol). quote:

Saturn in Virgo I can surely imagine. -sprinkles some Taurus Moon dust around- ;-) Edit: just checked a friends horoscope who has this. Can't find the placements, but capricorn rules the 6th. Scorpio is on the cusp of the 5th with Mars there. IP: Logged |

I have mars in the 6th house (cap) and sun in virgo. I am not like that at all. I would imagine it being a virgo placement that would make someone uptight like that. IP: Logged |

Lol! Virgo Sun conjunct mercury both squaring Saturn in 9th house Sag. I was the type of young annoying child that would correct the teacher :S & yes I'm uptight and serious look on face..IP: Logged |

I'm in Aries Sun with Virgo Rising and actually come across as "memorably uptight" in situations with others may just come as blase.When I first meet people who I'm don't care about (not that I dislike them, I just don't care.. its the Aries arrogance), I also come across as uptight since I don't go out of my way beyond polite hellos. I have Taurus moon too  I also have Scorpio 5th house.....and Venus in Capricorn in...you guessed it - the 6th house!!!(Sagittarius is intercepted) Looks like my soul decided on a lifetime of uptightness  IP: Logged |

As long if you like it it's fine. Plus sexual jokes is a different context. I asked this question because I can see it 'blocking' some people. My friend who has this is always improving everything in a 'have to' way. It's never good enough in her eyes while she has this amazing qualities and a brilliant portfolio. But she actually is stressing herself out and hardly ever gives herself downtime or the credit and it is doing her head in. IP: Logged |

Hehe IKR  My Virgoan mars makes me an annoying person (so I've been told countless times lol) in the sense that I refuse categorically to change my ways.I love how I get things done, I don't have a problem with it.If other people find me too 'systematic',too this,too that, it's their problem not mine I know am efficient in what I do. I know I get things done while some are still wasting time on if they want to get it done or not! I've loads of fire in my chart, (leo stellium) with a Virgoan Mars.I believe the latter balance things out for me

I believe a strong 6th House and Saturn connections (soft or hard) can make a person like that even if Virgo is scarce.For example I have Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus, Jupiter, Pluto and North Node in the 6th House. All are in Scorpio (except for Mercury which is in Libra) and the personal planets are trine Saturn in Pisces (11 House). I have no Virgo placements in my chart but I always get – perfectionist, critical, too nervous, can’t let loose and enjoy life in the moment. IP: Logged |

Lol, the only fire are my chart rulers Uranus in 10th and Saturn in 9th (Sagittarius).Although my progressed asc is Aries. IP: Logged |
