My boyfriends first house is libra; therefore his his house rulers are opposite the traditional house ruler. This makes it hard to interpret our synastry.

-His sun, mercury, and Pluto fall in his first (and my 11th house).
-His Saturn in 2nd (scorp..my 12th house).
-His Jupiter, uranus, and Neptune in 3rd (sag...my 2nd house).
-His 7th ruled by his opp sun
-His moon in 8th house (taurus..my 7th house)
-His rising, Venus, and mars in 12 (virgos)

My sun is in pisces opp his Venus/mars but conj the traditional house ruler.

My asc, moon, Pluto fall in his 2nd house but opp his moon (in 8th house,my asc, moon, Pluto ruler)

My Venus in his 8th house (but opp. The 8th ruler). And oops his saturn.

My Jupiter in his 7th but opp his sun, mercury, Pluto and the 7th house ruler.

My mars, Saturn, uranus Neptune fall in his 4th house opp. That house ruler.

Would a lot of opposition in our synastry be comfortable to him? (I have a lot of trine and sextile in my natal).

What are your thoughts?

With oppositions, it can go - and probably will go - both ways.

Opposites attract! For sure. But do they get along? That mainly depends on other aspects, especially those that support the opposing planets. And of course the natal charts. If there are oppositions in your natal charts, it may be easier for you to deal with the see-saw energy. If not, it may a bit difficult to find common ground.

But here it seems that the 1st/7th houses are affected, so you guys are probably very attracted to, and fascinated with, each other. Sun opposite Venus/Mars is very romantic/sexy. Compelling, even. Moon opposite Moon and Pluto, very emotional bond, deep emotions. And the DSC is at play, so it directly affects the relationship.
The only thing that could be a bit difficult to deal with is his Saturn opposite your Venus - he may not value your displays of affection and you may feel underappreciated sometimes. But it's a good aspect for longevity.

Jupiter opposite Sun and Mercury may point to some disagreements on fundamental values, so try to communicate effectively with each other!

Thanks so much for your response Doux rêve!!!

It's so weird because it seems like instead of making a single aspect that there's at least two an opposition and conjunction. Especially with his cusp sun! I think it may decrease the intensity of an opp or conj aspect. Luckily for every hard aspect in our charts there seems to be a good aspect to counteract it.

For example; the Saturn opp. My Venus hasn't seemed to be a problem Because our Venus/mars. trine everyway. However his saturn opposition my moon where I have moon conjunct his Saturn and weak conj. His sun ..has been very interesting to say the least! He's very accepting of my Venus (also conj his moon) affection...but my emotion sometimes I'm not so sure! My moon is in my 12 and his Saturn tries to pry my emotions out he seems to both be understanding of them, yet bothered by them at the same time...and i get confused by his Taurus moon that seems to be unaffected by the fact that it bothers him.

Jupiter opp his sun and mercury...idk something came up the other day that left me wondering. But our mercurys also trine and we have suns that easily see both points of view *shrug*

...I'm probably just rambling now. But I really liked/appreciated the insight!!!!
