Do you mean "If signs had different ruling planets, how would they act"?

Xiiro clarified your title.

You got to stop being on the defensive and negative all the time.

I wasn't correcting you, I was requesting clarification of your question.

"Sagittarius ruled by the Sun or a Cancer ruled by Neptune"

I wasn't sure if you were asking about a Sag with Jupiter in Leo or a Cancer with Moon in Pisces. Thanks for the clarification. I understand that intention can get lost in text and I can see where you thought I was correcting you. Now that's cleared up, lets move on.

I assume the major thing that would change when swapping around rulership would be the element/polarity/quality used to express the planet. The rulers are pretty well matched to their sign in my opinion, because each sign has the essential theme of its ruler at the core of its expression.

Sag being ruled by Jupiter places the desire to expand, grow, evolve and experience at the core of everything Sag does. If Sag were ruled by the Sun, it would be similar to Leo (in the effect that the Sun naturally rules another Fire sign). Instead of Sag being focused on expanding and evolving beyond his presently observed constraints however, he would devote his mutable and changeable nature to creativity and self expression. I wonder what the Sun would look like in a universe where Sag would be ruled by the Sun. Perhaps the Sun's light would not be a single point of fixed radiant glory, but an amorphous kaleidoscope of shifting shapes and colors. I think the biggest downfall would be the fact that Sag uses Jupiter as a kind of spiritual fuel to accelerate his travels. Replacing Jupiter with the Sun Changes Sagittarius's energy from tapping into the metaphysical realms for strength, to tapping into one's identity. Existentially Sag ruled by the Sun says that once humanity discovers the great depths and heights of divinity in Scorpio, it rejects the divine and returns to playing with itself (instead of embracing the divine and seeking the divine through process/sojourn).

Were Cancer ruled by Neptune the change would perhaps be similar, because Neptune is also already related to a sign of the same element. The emphasis would be channeling Neptune through a cardinal channel however and not a mutable one. The Moon inspires Cancer to remain attuned to their perceivable personal space. Feelings and objects who pass into (or threaten to pass into) their personal realm are engaged with an intention of understanding and accepting or considering hostile and rejecting. Cancer relies on the Moon to define the space in which Cancer can contain it's feelings (otherwise Cancer would lack comprehension of self in a sea of random feelings). If Neptune replaced the Moon, Cancer would seek to dissolve any barrier or boundary she encountered automatically. She would likely have difficulty sharing and mastering her emotions in an understandable way to other non-Cancers. I think the greatest challenge would be how indescribable the feeling of Neptune is. As a Cardinal sign, Cancer is equipped to face and engage experiences the moment they arise. Neptune would boost Cancer's ability to accept and understand the truth of an experience almost instantaneously, but they may then be overcome/crushed by all that understanding, or even reach a state of seeing everything as insubstantial and insignificant and lose interest in the world altogether. Neptunian Cancers would be great oracles, but would be so overwhelmed with the downpour of visions and insights everywhere they turned that they could end up catatonic. This would be a difficult ruler for Cancer, because she is the first expression of water, and therefor requires boundaries, cycles, and structure to help identify and master self among all the emotional currents which pull a person in any give direction.

There you go Karkaqueen.

Don't you feel a little silly now?

You remind me of ME when I was your age.

Being on the defensive is not a good thing,it alienates people, ends up making you feel bad.You may forget all about it, people won't. Being on the internet doesn't provide an excuse either. See things in a more positive light,it'll help you secure yourself emotionally. You are quick at expressing emotions that are felt on the spot,it makes you spontaneous, people will appreciate it as long as they are positive emotions. If you are about to express negative ones, take your time to think it through. You might feel differently about things after 30 mins of reflecting on it.

On topic, Xiiro obviously took time to share his/her opinions. The least you could do is acknowledge the post
