Venus is our tastes
Moon can be included too because music is also emotional in ways.Personally, I love sensual/smooth music and music like Eurodance.
I can change to liking classical music and rock on some days, too. Moon in Taurus conjunct IC (3rd house)

I like reggae a lot, especially dance hall, a little punk rock, certain alternative pop songs. I look for sounds in music, and melodies. My fave melody of all time is the ethereal, music box kind like in the song Shelf in The Room which I think is amazing. I also like Wuthering Heights by Kate Bush, and Linger by the Cranberries and any other I stumble upon with the music box structure. I like the sounds in Love Action by The Human League because it sounds like cat meows and I think it's cute. Anything with weird sounds I am drawn to. I like looking for patterns in songs and then compose a list. The songs I like most have quirks in them. My musical tastes are most likely influenced by Venus in Leo, Moon in Taurus both in aspect to Uranus/Libra since it rules my fifth house, what I do for enjoyment. IP: Logged |

I would say my Mars in Gemini 5th House influences my music the most, although i am extremely varied lol, im on and off alot of different things but the one constant has to be
 Its Fast, Energetic, Loud & FUN! Funnily enough Tom Delonge the lead member of Blink 182 and Angel & Airwaves two of my most favourite bands has the same Mars and Venus placement as me. Also I dance really cheesy. my pisces side SHINES in this department, lol.
i love new age alternative, trance, chill electronic, old school hard rock like zeppelin. i also love classical piano music, my favorite classical artist is frederyk chopin. ------------------

OMG, someone else who loves Within Temptation!  But to answer the question, my favorite genre of music is Metal. I'm pretty musically open minded, though. The only types of music that I don't really listen to are religious themed music and Reggae (can't stand Reggae). Capricorn Moon in the 8th House

I pretty much like any kind of genre-- mellow, pop, reggae, rnb, alternative, rock, house and electro, metal, classical, folk (I know. weird, right?) My tastes ranges WIDE, or let's just say, anything that catches my ear at the moment. Well, maybe except for screamo. Not really a fan of it. Libra Venus in the 4th, trine saturn, square neptune and uranus. Pisces moon in the 9th, trine sun, mars and pluto, sextile uranus and neptune, square mercury and opposite jupiter. (wait a sec-- My moon aspects all the planets except venus, and I like a wide variety of music. Does that have any relationship?) IP: Logged |

My musical tastes are extremely varied.
I don't think I've ever met anyone who'd be as open minded when it comes to music as I am! Okay, I don't like rap & r'n'b or mainstream music too much, but I know TONS of artists from all kinds of music genres. I love music and I always explore it.I can listen to: rock/metal/punk
jazz/classical music
electro/trance/house
dream pop/glo-fi/downtempo/trip hop
.. and any of their subgenres. I don't listen to rock music as much as I used to because I'm in a calmer state of mind now. I don't really relate to the crazy emotions anymore (but it still happens from time to time - too much Pluto). Currently I really like chillwave, downtempo, trip hop, glo-fi, and so on. Dreamy, atmospheric stuff. Artists like Burial, Bonobo, The XX, Bearcubs, XXYYXX, Massive Attack, Mister Lies, oOoOO, Zaza, Patterns in Plastic.. Lots and lots of others. But it really depends on my mood.
I can listen to more energetic things, no problem.
