Hi all,I've read a bunch of random articles/blogs about retrogrades and how people with natal retrogrades are affected, but I'm still a bit confused. I'm wondering conceptually, how does someone with a natal retrograde planet get affected by that transiting retrograde? Ex: If I have pluto retrograde natally, how will the pluto retrograde affect me/my life? (Supposedly, people with natal pluto retrogrades can recover from illnesses that would have otherwise caused permanent disability during this transit). Would someone with a natal retrograde turn outward/expel energy outward during a transiting retrograde? Any clarifications/questions, ask away! Thanks~ IP: Logged |

I have several Retros but I don't really watch anything but mercury because everyone talks about it. It does not effect the person with the natal retro as much because that person is used to the energy of it ------------------

Oh, I mean, YES. In the past it used to be that during Mercury retrograde periods, those with the nRetrograde would work up the courage to ask me out and make their feeling about be known. It's as though a window of opportunity for bravery opens. I have Mercury, direct, as 1st house ruler, and Neptune, retrograde, as 7th house ruler. I've wondered if when Mercury goes retro it somehow connects with my natal retrograde Neptune and brings love my way. hmmmmm... IP: Logged |

Yes, for me, when Mercury goes Rx, it's not big deal (since I have it Rx natally), but I witness other people's communication (and communication in general) go haywire. As to whether or not those other people have Mercury Rx natally as well or not, I have no idea. The point is, in general, it feels like "business as usual."IP: Logged |

I've totally noticed that too!! Everyone acts 'opposite'. This last Mercury Rx, I noticed two of my friends, who are each other's shadows, were acting like they switched bodies! Who was once the worrier turned into the supportive adviser, and vice versa. lol it was crazy/hilarious.. and I noticed things within my own perspective/thought processes changing as well. Honestly I have Merc retrograde and I'm actually better off communication wise when it is retro, well from the last retro I was I have five out of the eight planets retro, that's Mercury, Jupiter, Uranus, Neptune and Pluto I think the last three, a third of the year they're retro so I don't really notice any difference IP: Logged |
