Can anyone help me understand this? Would having a couple of personal planets on the Vertex make someone LESS sensitive to a Vertex connection in synastry or MORE sensitive to a Vertex connection?

Also, I've read that having a planet on one's vertex axis or in close aspect makes those planets more powerful. In my chart, I've got Neptune conjunct my Anti-Vertex exact with an exact square from my sun, and I'm VERY Neptunian. I always thought that was because Neptune was in my 1st house, but now I think it's because it's on my Anti-Vertex. Can anyone shed any light on this for me? I've read quite a few articles on the Vertex; what I'm interested in hearing is anyone's personal experiences or interpretations on this. Thanks!

I just remember hearing vertex conjunct Venus for me would make me charming. I only have one on it though
