In August of 2001 I had two cats come into my life, a feral kitten and a stray cat someone dumped. I rescued the kitten myself and the stray "adopted" me. I had both up until last July, when the stray died of cancer. The feral rescue is still with me--and I still see her has my little baby kitten, even though she's showing her age.

I looked at my transits for that time and the one thing that popped was tr Mercury was in Virgo and ha just entered my 1st. I did have trUranusRx in my 6th at the time, conjunct my Aqua Mars.

Another cat, my best bud for nearly 18 years I found as an abandoned kitten in July of 1993. That's a pretty funny story--I heard a crying kitten and went to investigate and found three people trying to catch a frantic kitten. But when she saw me walking up, she made a beeline to me and when I picked her up she started purring and looked at me like "WHERE have you been?! Those people were trying to steal me!" If you can be soulmates with another species, than she and I were soulmates. I looked at those tranists too.

I have trMARS in Virgo just entering my 1st house, just like trMercury in Virgo in August 2011. And I have a retorgrade planet in the 6th--trSaturnRx.

Then on October 12, 2004, I rescued a 7 week old kitten that someone dumped on the freeway and although I didn't intend to keep him, we were too attached to each other to be seperated.

On the day I rescued him I had trMoon in 1st, opposing my natal moon, plus trJupiter and trMars all in my 1st too. And yep, Uranus was still in my 6th, and had gone rx again.

Wild.

It's hard to know how specific that is to my chart. Being a Virgo ASC with a Pisces moon, I'm a magnet to stray, abandoned, feral and injured animals, so having a personal planet transisting my 1st house in Virgo, opposing my Pisces moon, may amp that up for me. Interesting that with all three periods of my life, I had a retrograde planet in the 6th.

But those are for animal I found, or found me. Recently I made two adoptions: my dog on July 28 2011 and my new cat on August 11, 2012.

When I adopted my dog, I just had this weird yearnng to get a dog. I'm not much of a dog person but out of the blue I really wanted one and literally went and adopted one the next day. At the time, tr Mercury was on the verge of entering Virgo, in my 12th house, and opposing trNeptuneRx in my 6th!

When I adopted my newest cat last year, it was a chance happening--I had lost my other cat to cancer the month before and I was at Petsmart with my dog. When we walked by the cats for adoptions, one of the kittens saw my dog, came up to the corner of his cage and pawed at her like "Hey, play with me!" I was in love and came by the next day to adopt him.

Transits that day:

Nothing in Virgo, but Neptune was rx agian and still in my 6th, as well as Chiron in my 6th, which was, you guessed it, rx too.
