I have noticed that most people (myself included) look to the walter pullen method on astrodienst, when establishing their dominant signs/planets etc. However on another site (astrotheme) I had a full chart reading done and it gave me three totally different dominant signs and the same for the planets. I also used to use a site called Clairvision (which has since disappeared) and that too gave a different result, namley having Pluto as my dominant planet whereas the Pullen method puts it in just 6th place...!! Which method do you find most accurate? or do you have your own method? Please share..... IP: Logged |

Maybe it's something to do with the aspects the planet makes and the positions they are in, I know pullen uses both, I'm not sure of the otherLike my Venus, it's in Taurus, it's own sign, in the Seventh house (own house, also angular), domicile and it's conjunct the DSC which really makes it all powerful in every way, however, there's only one aspect it makes a conjunction to the Moon with an orb of 5 I tend to look at the positioning first then judge what aspects it's making, any exact ones, ones with the chart ruler, angular rulers or angular planets and so on Usually though I can just look at the chart and tell IP: Logged | |
