Can someone help me understand this placement? I am having a hard time understanding how someone expresses or understands their emotions through this sign.

The two Virgo Moons I know closely, one with Mars tightly opposite and one with S-turn opposite.

From what I've seen, Virgo Moons usually understand themselves well. They know their emotions and what they're feeling and what they want. But the expression part is another story.
Virgo Moons generally seem to forsake themselves, or at least have a huge reservation when it comes to emotions. They can be hard on themselves and often put themselves second. They want to remain calm and peaceful and prefer not to be overtaken by emotion - which is seems they naturally have trouble handling.
From what I've seen, when overtaken by emotion, they can become avoidant and irritable; hiding away, sleeping, or generally fuming to themselves.

It depends on the aspects to it.Maybe Saturn grounds both their moons.

A Virgo Moon I know is pretty dramatic. The only hard aspects she has to her moon is a Venus square and a quincunx from Mars. You can definitely see the Venus square.

two close friends are moon in virgo.
they both get overloaded with things pretty easily.
they both are very hard on themselves about the STUPIDEST things. one of them has a tendency to be a little critical towards other people and personally, i hate that lol. they always get the aries fire when they try to analyze me.

Oh OK,only one has the Saturn opposition. So maybe it's the Venus square Moon aspect she has.It is one of the most difficult to have.

Yes, I've noticed that in some Virgo Moons but not all of us are critical. I am very accepting of people, generally.

Undeveloped Moon in Virgo natives tend to get this narrow minded mindset. Requires development to assimilate into higher levels of open minded thinking.

Best way to understand Moon in Virgo is to place someone with Moon in Virgo and someone with Moon in Gemini in the same room and watch them react to one another. The differences tell all. While Mercury governs both, one thinks of possibilities, the other shoves it all into categories.

One speaks from detail and gets to the main point, the other states their thesis and slowly works to the details as needed.

My Moon is in Virgo 3rd house conjunct IC.

I've been told that I'm too hard on myself. People tell me frequently that I'm too complex as well. I process emotions, mine and others in different ways, it depends on the environment/circumstances/people involved.

I just realized that I don't think I've ever actually known anyone with the Moon in Virgo. That seems strange to me somehow considered I attract Virgos (my Vertex is in the sign), and most of the people I know usually have at least one planet or angle in Virgo.

i am very hard on myself and often uncomfortable with expressing my own individual emotion....but i would walk through fire again and again to make somebody else not feel pain.

i always want to feel efficient, things bother me when people do things a long way if there's a simple and straight-forward way to do it right in front of them...i mean if you know there could be a better option out there, why go the long way? that's often why we;re considered so meticulous, because we're good at seeing through things in order to make them more efficient. obviously feelings don't always lead towards an outcome, which is why we get uncomfortable with feelings but obviously we can still analyze them, we can't just feel them and not do anything with all that emotion.

just my thoughts.
