Topic: Leo rising colored by Sun sign?

Please share what you know or have observed in people with Leo ascendents. Do you see their "Leo-ness" colored by their sun placement by sign and/or house? How would a Capricorn sun show through a Leo asc? Would a Scorpio sun be a "dark" lion? Or a Pisces be a sleeping/dreamy lion? What have you observed?IP: Logged |

This girl I grew up with is Leo sun and we were like sisters. She does look a lot like a lion, lol. Don't know what her ascendant is because I don't know her time of birth. I can see the Leo sun in her face and coloring. She could be a double Leo, wouldn't surprise me in the least, with sun in the first house.IP: Logged |

My sister is Gemini Sun Leo ASC. She takes great pride in her social prowess. Alternately she is capable of being one of the most socially deluded and ignorant people I know. When tasked to perform socially she can charm the knees off bees, but when she gets comfortable, she becomes manipulative, causes drama, and randomly accuses people of offenses which never existed (there are some 12H Cancer placements too). No matter how rationally or humbly you try to explain that she has completely fabricated your offenses, she refuses to believe you are telling the truth (instead concluding that you are just not willing to see the truth and accepting she must be the mature person and rise above). Then, every evening she will drunk dial you and confront you over your insensitivity, wondering why everyone always victimizes her and then expects her to be the better person. If I didn't have to know her for longer than a few hours a day, my sister would be AWESOME. She is fun, creative, conscientious, adventurous, and generally enjoyable to be around. The problems for me really arise from having to deal with her when she becomes bored with being pleasant. =) IP: Logged |

I only know one person with this Rising...He's a Pisces Sun/Virgo Moon. I'll corroborate that first line of Xiiro. He thinks that he has amazing social prowess (and often defines himself in opposition to other people that he deems "socially retarded")...but he is probably amongst the most socially inappropriate people that I know. He lacks any sort of "social grace" and can very often be very crude and selfish...although he thinks of himself as being very refined, sophisticated, and generous (and loves to tell you just that!). People love him for his candor, though, and he can be quite funny. He's a "small doses" kind of friend. IP: Logged |

I am a Leo rising, and a Cap sun. I like to think of myself as a charmer, and charismatic, i use that ability to get myself ahead in my career because people seem to like it (I guess thats how it comes out with my Cap sun). I think it does have the capability of becoming quite manipulative and overly assertive if you don't keep it in check. I do kinda see other peoples shortcomings in work as my openings, I kinda "pounce" when i see an opportunity. Xiiro's description is pretty spot on in some parts  lol. IP: Logged |
