Mutable types don't really need the video because they're already pretty adaptable and "fluid" in that sense; they know how to adjust to whatever comes, innately. The flip side to that though is that they can be inconsistent, flighty and lack follow-through. Someone with mutables strong in their chart with nothing else to give them the ability and desire to commit and focus, will probably just be all over the place in a general sense and bounce from thing to thing and person to person. goatcat,Thanks for the help. mirage, Thanks for adjusting the link; makes it a little easier to access. And thank you for the "human" response. Chirp, Thanks for the feedback. Mutable types should have no problem appreciating this as a validation and affirmation of their primary orientation, while others will be afforded a nice glimpse into their more mutable associates, and into a less dominant facet of themselves, as well. If you watched the video, you would know that Gladwell (like most mutable types) was careful to qualify his praise by including "the flip side", suggesting the importance of single-mindedness for the attainment of goals, -- which only strengthens his support of mutability. ------------------ Vision without action is a dream. No, I didn't watch the video. How does pointing out how mutables need to learn how to sit still and focus on something, constitute support?
Having said that, most mutable people actually seem to be pretty self-aware and honest about how they're all over the place, so I do give them credit for that much, they usually don't pretend to be something they're not. Just my mechanical opinion, y'know. I tend to attract Gemini people which honestly...I'm not really crazy about. I blame it on having Mercury angular in my chart, so they see me and think they've found one of their kind...then they get very confused when my predominantly fixed energy comes to the fore.
