I've had acne since I was 15 and I'm almost 21 now and obviously ridiculously annoyed at how it hasn't gone away yet (ive tried everything under the sun except BC and roaccutane) (its not severe by the way, a derm would say it was light but still annoying and punches my self confidence)Does anyone else suffer from acne and what in do you think it's due to astrologically? Transits? Natal? From what I've read it is a mars affliction. I have 8th house mars conjunct south node...
Also having to do with saturn apparently.. I've got saturn square ascendant also going through a 12th house saturn transit right now. Do you reckon it'll go away when it hits my 1st? ive also got 1st house pluto scorp asc
Any insights welcome

i dont have an acne problem, but i do have really oily facial skin. it might be a mars affliction, but ive always attributed it to my sun being in aries.
my dad is a sun in aries as well, and he is 50 and still gets the occasional outbreak. i also know stress and nervousness will make a person break out. by the way, i am 21.

Scorpio ASC are known for acne, that's probably it, I'm a Scorpio rising and it affects me badly (I have to wear a lot of makeup to cover it it)IP: Logged |

I break out, I have a serious skincare regimen and my skin is definitely under control. I still will get an occasional breakout around my period but its definitely better than its been. I have to be really careful I don't use anything too irrirtating because it will make my sensitive skin worse. I use suki cleansing bar to wash my face.
Neutrogena Alcohol free toner
Neutrogena rapid repair eye cream/yes to blueberries eye creams (alternate bc I have two open)
Natural Vitamin E oil or natural grapeseed oil at night (depending on if I need the extra moisture of the former) I use Skin MD natural shielding lotion (fragrance free and parabenfree, hypoallergenic) for my moisturizer during the day. I use a BB cream with SPF 30 for sunscreen - moisturizer with sunscreen are too drying
I tried the clarisonic and it made me skin worse.
Everyone's skin is different though. But that's how I treat my scorp rising skin

Yah I heard/seen Scorpio AC to generally have an acne problem. I have some strong Scorpio and I generally have a clear-ish face. I get the occasional white head and I have those little itty bitty red dots that aren't quite pimples...IP: Logged |

Hmm...well, I am Pisces Rising with mars in Aries in the 1st house. My Mars is Square Saturn in Capricorn and trine my Sag MC. Saturn is sextile my ASC. Every now-and-then, I get huge blemishes on my forehead (Aries rules the head apparently) and face. Not scattered or severe pimples like some people get. The blemishes get so large sometimes that even touching them gently really hurts. Within a week or two, they usually go away on their own. When i was about 15, my skin started to get a little blotchy. During that solar return, my ASC was in Scorpio. Just adding my experience. (=IP: Logged |

thats the first time i hear scorp asc are known for acne.
i never had acne, not even during puberty.

magicspells: have you ever tried Aloe leaves?
i have aloe at home, it does do not require much water and it has many uses! you need just a bit of a small leaf of aloe; When you break an aloe leaf you will see that a transparent liquid coming out. Squeeze that and put it directly on the wound or acne affected part of skin and leave it --uncovered--. IP: Logged |

I have a strong t zone so I have to have those dry wipe thingies with me to keep my nose from being oily through out the day.
Plus I have to keep my skin moisturized or it will get flaky and dry
My skin either gets extremely dry or oily.

Mars/Aries energy and Scorp Asc are prone to acne.
I have some acne and have dry-oily skin. So annoying. I have to really take care of my skin and kind of watch what I eat sometimes. I love snacking and when I do I break out bad! I recently got back and shoulder acne So embarrassing but I bought the Neutrogena Body Scrub and it's pretty much gone now (I blame my Mars)!! For my face I just use a scrub... also a face mask only when I feel I need it. I have to use a special face cream for my dry-oily skin or not my whole face will be flaky, dry, and oily. I also take Vitamin C&E together which is great for skin. Like PBB said, nothing with fragrance or strong chemicals! I prefer not to use anything that's why I only use a scrub and a facemask only when needed. Scorp Asc, Mars ruler of 5th natally in the 8th.. IP: Logged |

It'll probably be manageable after our 20s (unless you're already there)
My mother's a scorpio ASC and she still gets acne outbreaks sometimes, nothing major though, it's usually in times of stress, we really need to watch our skin then! IP: Logged |

I have oily/sensitive skin and I get acne every now and then. Right now I'm using Etude House Be Clear line. I've been using it for more than a year now. The best product I've used so far.I think Neptune in the 6th was to blame why I have sensitive skin. IP: Logged |

I don't know about astrology and acne but when I got rid of dairy, i got rid of my acne. I read that dairy can cause acne. IP: Logged |

aries i've encountered with it but don't know any other aspects. i am scorpio asc but never had any problems other than 2 years when i had self-loathing. i later read something in a book by louise Hayes saying that acne could be attributed to self-loathing so it made sense to me. around that time i felt very trapped too so not sure if it was a transit hitting my sun-mars square, i dont understand transits.
