I have one example of a long-term Aquarian marriage. My mom and dad.

She was an Aries Sun, Gemini ASC and Moon, Pisces Venus.
He was an Aquarius Sun, Leo Moon, Cap Venus, and an early - mid 3rd decan rising Leo. There's about a 30 minute window of uncertainty on his t.o.b.

Uranus was a major part of their synastry!
Most striking:
They had Venus quincunx Uranus DW (Uranus conj) and Venus sextile Venus all 2 degrees or less. A synastry YOD..In their composite Sun is sextile Saturn and both are quincunx Uranus. With Uranus opposite Venus. Another YOD, with a Venus-Uranus opposition at it's core.
Her Uranus conjunct his Moon.

My mother's Uranus forms an aspect with almost every single one of my dad's planets with the exceptions of Mercury, Mars, Pluto and NN. And his with her's, a few less, excluding Moon, Mercury, Mars, Neptune, Pluto and NN.

They were married for 21 years, until the day my dad died. The only time they ever separated was for 10 months when I was 12. Neither one of them cheated

Granted they also had:
Sun trine Moon DW
His Aphrodite was trine her Sun and opposite her Moon and hers trine his ASC, all less than 0 degrees..A goddess personified for only him.
Synastry:
Composite:

Does anyone else have examples of long lasting heavy Uranus influenced relationships?

Lionfish,

Are your parents deceased? You're so young!

My best friend's father was an Aquarius sun; her mother is a Cap.

They were married over 25 years...so technically it was long-term.

He cheated on her a few times, ultimately he left her for another woman and then spent the rest of his life regretting his mistake and trying to get his Cap wife back.

my parents: married for 40 years this years; very stable committed couple; no separations, no on-off at all

My Dad is an Aquarius with stellium of Sun, Jupiter, Venus in aquarius; my Mom has Uranus conjunct ASC; their synastry has a little Uranus with his Uranus trine her Sun and squae her Moon. And her Uranus part of a Yod with her own Venus and Mars and his Venus-Jupiter-conjunction.

Uranus is part of a Grand trine with Jupiter and Juno in their composite.

Aquarius when committed, are in it for the long run. It's a fixed sign so it's not going to want to go thru too many changes. Mostly the mutables will be the ones to go back & forth to vacillate on their decision.

I definitely agree with that. It is so often downplayed that Aquarius is a fixed sign, because of Uranus rulership, but whenever Aquarius decides something is a good idea, he will stick to it.

My Uncle Buddy and Aunt Eleanor were married for yearsssssssssssssssssssssssssssss (50+) - both of them Aquarius, no children. My Aunt Eleanor passed away and my uncle followed, not even, a year later. By far, THE coolest couple I ever met and they were so 'hip' - you couldn't get anything passed them. Both helped A LOT of people and were just, two people who were young at heart. A really nice, fun couple.

I agree - my uncle and aunt were the most committed couple I've ever seen in my life.

And if you look at all the charts, they all have fixed signs within their personal planets or ascendants.

this is very interesting.
very unique. it truly goes against certain stereotypes.
i dont have examples to show, but, ive met plenty
of aqua-uranus folks who are very loyal and even more,
than the typical scorpio/taurus...
it is a fixed energy indeed.

My dad is a double Aquarius (Sun/Moon) with Leo Asc and Sun opp Uranus (mutual reception)- 1 deg
My Mom has an Aries Sun/Gemini Moon with Libra Ascendant and Venus opp Uranus - 1 deg.

They don't have too much Uranian energy in synastry though, just Uranus-Moon DW(inconj. &sextile)

They have been married for over two decades now, no on/off here or cheating.

Edit: @hikoro
I have seen the love stellium and I think it still counts for them even though it's kinda wide.

@psytaurus

in the composite...
they have the love stellium in pisces in the 7th house.
the descendant is conjunct the composite sun
and mars trines the love stellium...
the pluto is in virgo, aside of the more negative descriptions of composite pluto opposing the stellium, im pretty sure it adds a strong degree of emotional intensity to the relationship.
so...beautiful.

If both people are Uranian/Aquarian anyway it won't be an issue.

My father is, yes. He passed away when I was 17. Pancreatic cancer took him. He was my absolute best friend while he was here, though.

I always always always forget about Aquarius' "fixed-ness" (yeah, not a word, I know ) Not that they seem mutable by any means, but because Uranus is so spontaneous (I don't like the word erratic :P) it's hard for me to see them as a fixed energy at first glance. It's not until you get to know Aquarius and know that when their mind is made up or their heart is set it's harder to move them than a mountain. It makes perfect sense that it would apply to relationships as well as everything else in their lives.

@Chirp
It seems like this is never taken into consideration when synastry/composites are read. I thought the same thing.. If you're used to the energies in your own chart, combining with somebody else's similar energy shouldn't be difficult. I've even asked when pertaining to relationships and house rulers.. For instance, Uranus is my DSC ruler, but whenever it's present in my syn/comp charts people associate it with erratic behavior/feelings/timing. "OMG, don't go there unless you want a crazy rollercoaster that can't commit." What if it's a crazy rollercoaster that can commit and I'm the only person with a ticket, though IDK if that little analogy made sense to you or not, but I hope you get my drift.

@12muddy

At first glance it might seem like this relationship was a rocky one..Your aunt's Moon quincunx his Uranus and her Uranus conjunct his DSC. But then take into consideration Uranus is not only your uncle's chart ruler, but his Sun's ruler and it falls in his 7th house. I think aspects to and from Uranus would be key in getting his attention, which she obviously did

I wanted to point out:
Her Saturn conj his Sun/Moon. If that's not fated, how 'bout their Jupiter conj ASC DW. Are they a very generous as couple? Maybe always seeming to be "helping someone out" or the people with the perpetual "guy on the couch"? I love the composite Jupiter, Chiron, Moon stellium in Pisces, btw, especially trine Neptune

@Ceri
I've seen your parents mentioned a few times and wondered about their charts. Thank you so much for sharing!!

That composite grand trine is absolutely beautiful. Juno and Jupiter, fated lovers, trine their Uranus, their DSC ruler. Then if you look a little bit further, the Rulers of that Grand trine all form easy (and connected!) aspects with each other.
And the Synastry, my my. Her Venus conjunct his ASC exact. Whew. I've never had it exact, or conj Saturn @ the ASC for that matter. I can only imagine how much of an impact your Mama had on your Papa!! And then it goes right back the other way with her Saturn conj his Mars..and partner/love/marriage aspects (a lot of conjunctions!!) littered throughout.. I don't think anything could have kept them apart once they found each other.
Was it love at first sight? Sparks at the very least!

I'll be back later to comment more... thank you all for sharing!!
