I have two important people in my life with pluto in the 1st house.

Have you noticed people with pluto in the 1st to have scorpio like traits but maybe less intense as a scorpio would?

Definitely. They could be even more intense than scorpio if pluto makes contact with their personal planets. Those traits come naturally to Scorpios whereas Pluto in 1st house will learn it with time. It also depends upon the sign that the pluto is in.

Scorpio rising conjunct Pluto 7degrees.. Nothing else in Scorpio

I have been described by others as serious, impenetrable, having an 'emo aura'.. mysterious, dark.. I dunno if this lends itself to 'intensity' though.. No ones ever tod me that

I have Scorpio Pluto in the 1st. I'm the least intense person you could meet, really. I also have Libra Moon in the First. Not sure... People do notice that I tend to go from one extreme to another, which could also just be a Libra Moon thing. Who knows..

I am Scorpio Sun, Leo Asc with Pluto in Ist. Yes, I can be prettty intense with emotions and causes. But inscrutable and dark I am not. Bright, sunny Leo undoes the inscrutability. Or it could be a Jupiter influence which conjunts Pluto. This is what iQ said about Pluto in my 1st::

The First House deals with the Sense of Self and Of Being, of Knowing that you Exist and Feeling that you exist as an Individual. Your Ego and Egoistic Needs seem most essential. You choose to make yourself the center of the Universe in this House.

The role of Pluto here is to completely transform your State of Knowing that you exist on Earth as an individual, to the Awareness that you Exist as a Spiritual Entity on a Higher Level. Pluto will create lessons of Self Knowledge. Many of these lessons will be very harsh, as the purpose is to strip away the petty Ego.

Yeah.. I have in 1st. and the first house represent yourself/character , you couldn't avoid to express that energy one way or another . The more it 's near the AC , the more it integrate in your character . Maybe it's as same as the scorpio sun or sun conjuncted pluto , that yourself merged into the plutonic type . Imho , it may different from sun sext./trine/squ./opp. pluto.

scorpio pluto in 1st house here

definitely have scorpionic traits by having pluto in my 1st and mars in 8th, but hopefully the good traits i.e. eagle or phoenix, because my libra rising hates stinging hurting other people.

quote:

Pluto in 1st House

You radiate intensity, and others' first impressions of you tend to be strong, one way or the other. You might often intimidate others with your manner. You can be very protective of your privacy, yet you generate much intrigue and interest with your strong presence. You might struggle with fears of being overpowered, rejected, or minimized, yet few are able to guess that you could be anything less than confident. Your first instinct in new situations is gutsy and determined, defensive and intense. You rarely accept the obvious or the surface of matters -- instead you look through situations in order to read any information on hidden levels. Strive to avoid getting your back up or viewing life as a battleground.

Another way it can work out is an event in life that is truly life-threatening. Accident, operations in critical state etc. Life can be threatened at some point with this placement and not at old age in general
