1958 - 1971 Pluto in Virgo: Concepts of service were transformed through increasing Civil Rights. Races were no longer relegated to the place of a servant. What else?1972 - 1983 Pluto in Libra: Relationships were transformed through Roe vs. Wade and increasing reproductive freedom for women. How else? 1984 - 1995 Pluto in Scorpio: Sexuality was transformed through AIDS pandemic, increasing knowledge of STDs, etc. Other effects? 1996 - 2008 Pluto in Sagitarrius: Concepts of Nationalism being transformed through increasing globalisation. Your ideas? 2009 - 2024 Pluto in Capricorn: The concept of a career is being transformed as technology can quickly make a career choice obsolete and government involvement can have a strong impact on industries (such as education, finance, healthcare, the idea of retirement). How else can this be playing out? And for those older folks out there: Have you noticed/experienced Pluto through Cancer or Leo? What are your thoughts on Pluto through those signs? IP: Logged |

Pluto in libra..Interesting how Pluto was ruled by Venus and this is when women fought for equal rights, burned the bra. Demanded equal pay... Also it's the era of "free love" the hippie generational (people with Leo Pluto) They became of age, and transformed relationships.

Excellent point, Lioness! It's interesting how those born under Pluto's influence in the previous sign link to the influence in the next couple of signs. Each seems to connect with the other. Changed race relations influenced women to "get theirs", which led to changes in sexual behavior, which led to increased globalism and national cooperative efforts (since viruses know no bounderies), which is leading to transformations in careers (like when accountants in India are doing tax returns for US tax payers). It will be interesting to see how it continues! IP: Logged |

This could also explain part of the stress when transiting Pluto squares natal Pluto: It's like seeing what happens when a good idea is carried too far or too fast (or not far enough or not fast enough) by the younger generations.IP: Logged |

Generational speaking I think the most dramatic changes of each era, was not where Pluto was when they were born, but where Pluto was when they became of age.. Ie..People born with Pluto in Leo (50's) During the 50's, it was all about family orientated.. U meet, get married, have kids.. If some how a child shamed the family (let's say pregnancy) The child was either given a shot gun wedding Forced into hiding/adoption Disowned ( this was their parents doing) (Childhood of Pluto in Leo) Then when this generation became adults.. (70's) They then fought the traditional values of marriage, relationships and women's right to choose. Women's right to equal rights.. So the Leo Pluto generation is actually the ones that set these changes into place. I was born in 72 my Pluto at 0 libra.. By the time I became an adult, women already had rights, and free love was pretty much over... All of a sudden my generation was dealing with the consequences of free love.. (Aides) So my generation set on a "knowledge" path.. Use protection, no glove no love.. Spreading the word on anything and everything Wearing seat belts, sex, drinking and driving, Etc etc. You can have this "free love" and be sexually open but you have to balance it and you must use caution.. Or possibly pay with ur life..

So that would be an effect of a semi-sextile or sextile by transit to the natal position. Teens would be semi-sextile, ideas there but still powerless, and the sextile would be later 20's when they're post-education, working and gaining power and momentum for the changes they want to see implemented! All right! I LOVE these kinds of discussions where I can develop my understanding through the input of others!!! Thanks! IP: Logged |

Yeah in a way, it's like the Pluto Leo people that grew up in traditional obsessed family homes, grew up to change the world by using Pluto in libra.

Perhaps their generation transformed our idea of glamour? IP: Logged |
