Interpretations say that :Although you have a desire to make contacts, you are now rather preoccupied with learning, and you may view idle chit-chat as a waste of time. You may feel an unusual pressure to structure your time and effort, and to cut out communication that seems unnecessary. You may at times feel rather overwhelmed by such things as errands, red tape, and other such day-to-day "disruptions". As Saturn moves closer to your IC (the fourth house cusp), there may be some vague feeling of urgency and worry, as if you sense some things in your life are closing. By the end of the transit, however, you will have ideally gained a greater depth of understanding, having focused on information and communication that you really can use to feel more effective in the world. I can relate to the fact that yes, i do feel more effective in the world, yes, communication has become certainly one of the most important issues for me, i am socializing, making new contacts, i am busy being everywhere, if before that transit i had rarely something planned ahead, then now i have practically 3 events occurring at one time, and that's ok for me. I love it. The downside is my studies - they suffer a lot from this, because as i work and have other activities that are important for me, i have no time left for studies (even attending lectures!).
Wasn't it supposed be otherwise? Why this transit is working this way for me? I have also transit Uranus opposite my Mercury, maybe that's the case, but i am not sure, however. IP: Logged |

I would say that Uranus-Mercury could be the component for new, thrilling and unexpected communications that are electric and Aquarian, perhaps more unique of contacts/friends than you've ever experienced. What house does Mercury lie in? Also, I would like to add that Saturn in the 3rd can lead to an OVERcompensation for the matters of the house. I have the natal placement and I often go over the top and try extremely hard to communicate with others, I talk quite a bit when I'm not being reserved, and try to widen my social circle constantly [also comes from 11th house Merc trine Saturn]. I read once that due to the anxiety and concern Saturn can cause around house matters, you may try to overcompensate for the house matters and go above and beyond in those areas, working hard. But just don't burn yourself out - that's key obviously. Saturn also represents moderation and not going over the top crazy with anything, don't be Jupiterian and bite off more than you can chew in terms of communications, day to day tasks and contacts at this time.
