What does Communication mean to you and what is your Sun sign ?Do you have to talk to your friends everyday to feel close to them, or can you take days or weeks without any communication and still feel close to someone ? I'm a scorpio with a lot of sag. I can take days off without talking to someone I care about a lot. It doesn't mean I love them any less. IP: Logged |

Communication is everything to me. Cappy Sun. But I also have Cappy Mercury, which is where one's communication style is. I like to get everything in writing. Very formal and traditional. I'm also very legal-minded and can communicate on the level of the best attorneys. I've sued people and also defended myself in a suit--with no attorney--and I have always won. Jupiter in the 10th. yeah i can go for days without talking to my best friends, or even my mom. aries sun as well as mercury in aries.
with people i know ill usually get straight to the point, ill text "wanna hang out" rather than "whats up". ------------------

11th house conjunct cusp of twelfth Virgo sun, 12th house Libra Mercury and my communication is most always indirect and subtle. I like poetry, symbolism, metaphor, allegory, analogy, anything visual and melodies of all kinds. I am good as seeing visions while listening to music, too.I can take a lot of days off without talking to them, easily. Takes me a while to like someone too when I first see them. IP: Logged |

I'm a bit of a contradiction. I don't need constant communication with my friends and prefer an airier connection, unless it's my significant other or there was Pluto in the synastry. I find it hard to turn Pluto synastry off.IP: Logged |

I can go either way.I have both my sun and my Mercury (which I'd think would be more important here) in Libra on the Scorpio cusp. And btw, perhaps my being on the cusp is why I have such a good rep for being able to keep secrets (as long as I'm told in advance so I can mentally "mark" it secret). IP: Logged |

Sun and Mercury are both in Aquarius with Sun falling in the 4th and Mercury falling in the 5th. Mercury is in opposition to Uranus in the 11th which is the ruler of both my Sun and Mercury. Sooo... I like when someone "gets" my playful, wacky sense of humor. They must be able to keep up with my going from playful to serious to playful (that erratic Uranian influence). But with my 9th and my 12th houses both ruled by Mercury, I also need someone with whom I feel a sort of telepathic (Uranian) or spiritual (12th/9th) house connection where words are optional. Words are something to play with, but the deep communication must come without words. I don't need to talk with someone I care about on a daily basis and can go for weeks without talking with

Communication means everything to me.
No,I don't have to talk to my friends to feel close to them.I like to break the verbal contact once in a while to see if they notice my absence or to see if they put much emphasis on everyday conversation to remain friends with me.I need to know if they would take it negatively if I don't converse with them for,say two weeks. Romantically, yes communication is very important to me,not the kind that we have to keep chatting to each other endlessly or making small talk,i don't view this kind of communication as being close to someone I can well have a non verbal very close link with a guy.Just being around him,doing stuff,not talking to each other is perfectly fine for me.But I do love engaging in debates with the person of my interest,if I know he is against something am for,I'll enjoy picking his brain.. Mercury in leo,Sun in Leo.Mercury conjunct sun,saturn,venus.mercury sextile pluto,trine neptune,square uranus and NN.Mercury inconjunct mars.

10H Sag Mercury, 11H Sag SunI'm told I talk a lot but I don't really think so. I can talk to anyone and everyone, anywhere and everywhere about anything under the Sun. When I get onto the phone, I go on for hours. I can stay without talking to friends for months. Doesn't matter. I'm fine with talking to my partner once in a day or on alternate days, when circumstances don't permit more. Otherwise, texting once in every two-three hours is ideal.
I talk to my parents once or twice in a week. When I have the resources, I overuse them. When I don't, I'm still cool. IP: Logged |

Sun in Cancer in the 4th house, opposite Uranus, and Neptune, trine Pluto, Conjunct Mercury. Mercury in Cancer in the 4th house, opposite Saturn/Uranus/Neptune, trine Pluto and ASC. For me, I just like for communication to be direct, honest, and i want whatever I say to be taken seriously. No game playing, please. My moms a gemini. My sister is a capricorn. My grandma is an aries. All annoying nags that i communicate with on a daily basis lol

I love communication! It's such a gift! I'm good at public relations, personally, with a Libra Mercury sextile Leo AC. I dislike really formal stuff, it's so stuffy and boring and just blah. Expression and emotion are supah key and so is the underlying influences and biases because people are dumb and forget how to strive for objectivity (which is near unattainable but WHATEVS). I dunno, I find it easy to relate to how people think...my family therapist said I'm good at manipulation, which in her context meant understanding how to better direct people towards a cause.  Personally, I can go periods without communication with friends and loved ones even though my natural drive is to communicate, relate, and organise people. I also like to be the one to tell stories or inform people because I often feel I can do it concisely and in fewer words or in words that better convey the point damn it! I hate a rambler or someone who can't tell a story, just gimme the reigns and fade into the bg already!!!! IP: Logged |

Wow, Randall  that's really cool.
Usually, I love to communicate and I need communication in order to feel truly connected to someone. The more I care about someone, the more I want to talk to them, and if the other person isn't into verbal exchange, that's a turn-off. I prefer writing/texting, because it's easier for me. I'm less comfortable with vocal communication, especially if I don't know the person well. Otherwise, with good friends, I can easily talk - and listen, as well.
I don't -have- to talk with my friends everyday or very often, but with my best friend, I do need her on a fairly regular basis. I need to be able to talk to someone who gets me - my best friend. I have Gemini rising, Mercury in Scorpio conjunct Sun. My best friend has Venus in Gemini and is a chatterbox, but I like her that way! Our Mercuries are very busy in synastry and are in opposite signs: Scorpio/Taurus. IP: Logged |
