Apparently, I have a high Mangal Dosha. For every matching a I did - it says that the boy has either a low or no mangal Dosha, and I has high Mangal Dosha. Too martian, they say

Anyway, I scored 27 on my love calculator. Is that good enough? It seems that we scored the max points for every category except for "varna" and 'backhoot" - what does that mean?

Mangal Dosha relates to the position of Mangal- Mars. If it's found in 2nd,8th and 12th in your chart, you are compatible to marry someone with the same percentage of mangal dosha.

I actually stumbled across it myself that day, too.

It seems that our Nakshatras are compatible. Interestingly if it had been the reverse (him Dhanistha, mine Moola it would not have been compatible).

I read the whole ebook there, and recalculated our points; I came up with a result of 29 points, substracting 5 points for Rasyadhipa, as it is only ordinary, I still have 24 points as a result. I guess that is fairly maneageable from a Vedic point of view, though maybe not a reason to get overenthusiastic. lol

My listing would be as follows (of course there can be still mistakes in there).

1. Dina: GOOD - 3 points
2. Gana: GOOD - 6 points
3. Yoni: ordinary - 1 point
4. Rasi: GOOD - 7 points
5. Rasyadhipa: ok - (5 points?)
6. Vasya: not present MINUS 2 points
7. Varna - Rasi: GOOD - 1 point
