My 4 year old has saturn in virgo.

I did her birth chart on 0800-horoscope.com

It said:

She likes order, harmony, method and balance. She can undertake long-term medical or scientific studies.

Weaknesses: she is intransigent, stubborn. Misuse of medicines, or asking for too much medicine.

That really worries me because its true. I hide medicine in my house cuz i already saw she likes it. She sometimes lies she has a fever so i can give her motrin and if she falls she also asks for it as strawberry medicine.

She recently had tonsilitis and i have been giving her robitussin and amoxcicillin by orders from her doctor of course.

These are medicines that i would run and hide from when i was younger and taste like crap. My mom would have to beg me to come out from under the bed.

She calls it the bubble gum medicine and is happy to take it.

Anyone ever seen this in others with saturn in virgo?

Worried for her future ;(

I have already told her that taking too much medicine can kill you.

I have sun in Virgo and when I was a kid, I LOVED the taste of medicine, and vitamins even more. They were like candy!

You will probably have to keep a close eye until she outgrows it.

I have jupiter in virgo I use to cry and throw tantrums when i had to drink cough syrup *gags*..
They were so gross..

I would rather have taken pills..

Anyways sixth house would probably be more telling to why she likes medicine.

Strange you would post this. I have saturn in virgo (and in H6) and when I was young, I was the same way. My mom had to hide the vitamins bc id snatch more than one when she wasn't looking lol I know this sounds nuts but as a small child I liked the taste of penicillin. I remember having tonsilitis at 4 yrs old too. I ended up having my tonsils removed. BUT now at the age of 33 I despise being on any medicine unless its short term. I have allergies that I used to try to treat with otc bc I refuse to go on prescription for it but I've since them stopped taking anything and just suck it up. I hate taking pills. I keep ibuprofen for my sinus headaches but only if they are bad. Your daughter may outgrow it. I certainly did. Too many side effects makes it so not worth it.

And the only reason I was like that as a child was simply bc I liked the taste

I used to climb on the counters in the kitchen to get the vitamins. VenusianMoon, does she like Vitamins? You may have to put them someplace that has a lock.

She also has saturn opposite neptune

Neptune has a talent for putting it's finger on collective feelings and poets, artists and writers are all challenged to create something. Saturn is a planet that needs to be an authority on things and with Neptune involved the individual may be interested in medicine, charity work, or spiritualist matters. However, there has always been the danger with the hard aspects between these two planets of drug and alcohol addiction. A reliance on alcohol provides a loss of control or escape route from the hard task of responsibility and having to be in control.

One time I really freaked my mom out when I drank a bottle of ear medicine that was sitting on the headboard of the bed. She thought I was trying to get to sleep, instead I was eating the ear medicine!

So, yes, it is a concern...the good news is, I did out grow it eventually. Just getting to that point can be nerve wracking because you have to be really careful about where you put medicine and if she can climb to reach places you put things she is not supposed to have.

I would actually take this as interest in studying medicine and health and fitness in general. you child is 4 years old and you are the parent who should be making decisions for her on what to have or not to have. but this is a good aspect for someone interested in eating healthy, holistic living etc etc etc

That's EXACTLY what I did. Id get a chair and hop up on the counter to reach where she had the yummy chewable vitamins in the kitchen cupboards. Id have probably ate the whole bottle if she wouldn't have caught me. They tasted like candy to me lol

I have Saturn in Virgo 5H and when I was a kid I used to love the taste of medicine. I would eat Flintstones vitamins, chewable vitamin C, and chocolate laxative chews by the handful if my parents didn't hide them from me. I was also a fan of throat lozenges, Triaminic, and Dimetapp (though I hated orange and grape flavored candy); Oh and the chewable children's aspirin. Robitussin always tasted nasty to me, but I liked the way my throat felt after drinking it. One medicine I hope to never encounter again is Quibron, holy hell it's nasty.

Back then I was either in perfect health or terribly ill. I had an allergy to my own immune response, so simple colds could turn into asthmatic-bronchitis or pneumonia. Medicine was never really a nemesis for me as much as a symbol of getting better. I suggest introducing her to things like chamomile or mint teas as therapeutic aids. There is something magical about drinking brewed potion to sooth ills. As I got older, I grew out of my desire to eat all the yummy medicine I could find.

I wouldn't be overly concerned. Saturn in Virgo can also grow up to be very susceptible to medicine. I am one of those people who's body will start preparing for a drug the moment I taste it. If I eat a pain pill, it usually hits me way before my body has the chance to actually metabolize it. Fortunately this means I respond well to herbal treatments too. I have Moon Virgo 6H, so that adds a lot more sensitivity to what I put in my belly as well as a feeling of comfort associated with medicine. Since I was a kid however, I have also LOVED vegetables (particularly broccoli, peas, spinach, and Brussels sprouts), my favorite drink has always been water or tea, and I graze on wild plants/suck on rocks. I just like ingesting things that make my body feel healthy and clean.

That being said, medicine and health are relatively negligible topics in the long list of amazing things Saturn in Virgo brings. Being a person who's personality is founded on service and nourishment of the world is the more rewarding/frustrating challenge. Saturn in Virgo cares greatly about resolving whatever needs resolving and fulfilling an environment's requirement for nourishment. We desire with all our heart to not only be useful, but to thoroughly resolve/fix whatever was broken to begin with. Help her find security in her self and what she has to offer; you will never have to worry about her abusing medicine as an attempt to fix something she feels is fundamentally broken within.
