"I use" is commonly listed as the motto of Capricorn.I don't find it fitting at all. What does this mean? IP: Logged |

I don't think it's necessarily people; it could be talents, resources, ideas, hardwork (yourself), etc. But Caps know how to go after what they want and are tenacious; that is why they are likely to be successful. IP: Logged |

Capricorn's motto relates to its office - which concerns structuring and bringing order to chaos. What do you do when you want to form something, you use what is available to you, right? Like jkitty said, it is about resources/resourcefulness. Capricorn's motto goes with those of the other Earth signs, Taurus will gain (possess/have) what material is needed, Virgo will see what there is to work with (analyze), and Capricorn will put those things to good use (use). The business of using others for their advantage is a bit foul. When a selfish, or unevolved person does this and exploits another individual for their own gain that is not the same as what is intended by the Capricorn creed at all. A Capricorn's place (the place for all the signs) is one to better mankind, while a Capricorn may use the talents of another, or benefit from their relationship, it is more of a Capricorn's nature to want both parties to benefit, therefore it isn't exploitative or due to some selfish motivation, but a sincere desire to achieve something from efficiently utilizing what is available to everyone. Capricorn is not concerned so much with gathering idolization so much as appreciation, or wealth so much as security... Whether a Capricorn influenced individual abuses their own "gifts" or those of others is an personal decision, but the sign's motto are supposed to represent the best facet of their nature, what they have to offer the other 11 signs. Capricorn's best ability is tapping into unused resources and putting them into use. So the motto is "I use". It is not meant to be negative at all... You are water dominant - so you may "feel" (Cancer) more, you may "want" (Scorpio) more, you may "believe" (Pisces?) more... I'm triple Earth with a much stronger proportion of Sagittarius influence... "I see" more... that I can "use, own, analyze" (Sag, Cap, Tau, Vir) lol I admit though, the whole "I use" thing is off-putting considering what others so often interpret it to mean... but, what can we do??? /shrug IP: Logged |

I'm a capricorn...I observe, I study from afar and when that sweet opportunity shows up, well hello 007, I'll sum up all the zodiac signs in one instant and seal the deal. Scorpios actually took lessons from us. IP: Logged |
