My favourite Astrologer (French) Catherine Aubier in her Book writes about rulers and gives also examples. I like Astrology Books with the Charts, and she has lots of Charts about famous people. I have example with my ruler of 8th, Venus in the 8th house, what should be late death. Also, ruler of my 1st in 8th means that I study death and suicide: how come I remained alive in my early twenties? Silvio Berlusconi, Italian Politic has ruler of 2nd, Venus in the 2nd. He is Libra with ASC Virgo. Everybody knows that he is very rich. As ASC Virgo, he also knows how to increase hi wealth. It is the same if ruler of 7th is in 7th that this person will marry (one day). So is with all 12 house rulers. Is somebody here, who can explain, how is with your rulers (from 1st till 12th house? Thank you in advance, Bobbie ------------------ To fall down is easy, but to stand up is difficult. (my own citation) IP: Logged |

Looking first Chart is horrible. The fact is that this woman is happy with her husband. Many people look soft aspects as those persons are lucky; people; with hard aspects are unlucky. Very seldom is that true; more important is the ruler of the house. She has ruler of 7th, Venus in 7th with only hard aspects. Venus here is at home, what is more important than, any aspects. Second: Silvio Berlusconi is richer than many other people in the world, Ruler of his 2nd house, Venus is again in 2nd. Here is Venus at home, again. His Chart has big square, and if he would be very young, I am sure that Astrologers would say, how difficult will be his life. Maybe now he has problems, but money can buy lots of things. What about the Moon being in the 4th house in Capricorn. My first guess would be that the person is attached to his mother and looks for a nurturing partner. Any other thoughts?IP: Logged |

I'm trying to see if I have this correct... I have Venus as the ruler of my 4th house and Venus is in the 4th house or do you mean (for example) I have Jupiter in 9th house (but in Pisces)?
I'm having a mental block kinda day/week so I apologize in advance for the silly question. Also I came across this thread in a google search earlier today... http://www.linda-goodman.com/ubb/Forum24/HTML/001400.html May be somewhat helpful with this topic.

I think bonadea is referring to the first way you put it, themischievousone.Pluto rules my 5th house and I have Pluto (in Scorpio) in my 5th. Ruler of the Fifth House is in its own House Fortunate for the children, and, unless the Ruler of the Fifth should be Mars, gains through speculations and games of chance I don't have kids and I don't really gamble so I can't say if this applies to me or not. Saturn rules my 7th house and I have Saturn (in Capricorn) in my 7th. Ruler of the Seventh House is in its own House Good fortune from the pecuniary and sentimental point of view, provided the Ruler of the Seventh is not afflicted by evil aspects of Jupiter or Mars. I suppose this is sort of true. IP: Logged |

Your Moon is in opposite sign from Cancer, where he is the ruler. Natural house of mother is 10th house (father is 4th - all for females). It can be love to mother, if Moon has good aspects. I have Saturn in Cancer (opposite to natural sign, Capricorn): that is never good. As ruler of my 10th is Moon in 5th house in trine with Saturn: I have loved very much my mother (she is dead now). In fact any planet in opposite sign that rules is not the best placement. ------------------ To fall down is easy, but to stand up is difficult. (my own citation) IP: Logged |

I know people with Venus in 4th: they had happy childhood and also lovely parents. Their own house is also beautifully furnished, full of flowers. Again, there are also important placements of other planets. Jupiter in 9th in Pisces (traditional ruler of Pisces): doesn't matter that you love your parents, you can move somewhere else (Pisces - water). Jupiter here is good for high education.

About Pluto in 5th: I have never seen that somebody can win with games. About children: if you don't have children, maybe you will have. Pluto is natural ruler of death and hasn't much with 5th house. Good to see that health house works (good health) with your planet's placement. That is what I miss. Bobbie ------------------ To fall down is easy, but to stand up is difficult. (my own citation) IP: Logged |
