Okay i was just thinking about if this is just me. I have Saturn in the first house and when i was a young girl growing up I was incredibly tiny and small boned and not to mention thin. I hated it but it was when i was 16 and everybody thought i was going to stay that size i just shot up. I grew so suddenley and filled out it shocked everybody and even myself. I now feel a lot more confident and happy about my body. I think this was due to my Saturn rising, it was like there was a delay in my growth and my life as a whole around that period in time. My cousin also has Saturn in the 1st and she was a late bloomer too. Anyone else had an experience like this? It's quite uncommon for a 16 year old girl to have such a significant growth spurt.. got me thinking.. It does not run in my family btw

Makes sense! I've noticed that with some Capricorn rising people, too. When they're kids / teenagers, they're usually super skinny and look frail, but then later on they become more full-figured and fleshy. Most of them are in good shape, though. IP: Logged |

I have saturn in the 1st and i've broad shoulders so i can never look petite. Guess that's because of my fixed aqua ascendant.Quite contrary to you, i also was a fat kid and teenager(thats my hyperactive unaspected jupiter making a square to asc) I lost most of my weight within 2-3 months after moving away from home 2 years back. I was also tall (and huge) for my age. My growth hormones stopped functioning or maybe slowed down around 16. However, recently i checked and i've grown slightly in height which is weird. I badly need a growth spurt. :-( IP: Logged |

I would probably look at genetic or biological factors, rather than astrological factors. Having saturn in the 1st house is about the structure of your individuality. Maybe there was a psychological influence or correlation in that you were ready to blossom at 16 and not earlier. It's likely your growth spurt had an influence on the structure of your individuality and not the other way round.IP: Logged |

Lord please give me a growth spurt. I'm vertically challenged. Lol . I'm cap rising conj 1st house cap saturn. No growth spurt for me. Although I did "grow" in other areas I developed a womanly shape when I was 13 year old. And my shape remains that way until now. IP: Logged |
