What event in someone's life causes this natal placement to manifest? IP: Logged |

What do you mean? Do you mean what triggers this aspect? That'd be everything related to Venus - love, social circles, looks, art, etc.IP: Logged |

Falling in lust/love with someone, mostly. Especially if the object of their attention is somewhat unavailable but a connection was established. Venus-PLuto hard aspect people are absolutely insatiable regarding love and affection and once the wheels have started to roll, it blows out of proportion pretty soon, plagued with jealousy and control issues, mostly out of fear of losing the object of their affection.IP: Logged |

I think it brings a lot of jealousy and negative emotions. Control freaks, surrounded by and someone with this aspect in their natal chart can be that way themselves. Can indicate violence in their life, or a susceptible time during the transit. I know someone with the natal square and she has always had a huge problem with jealousy. From what I've seen, the negative aspects between Venus/Pluto are some of the worst ones a chart can have, but that's just from what I have seen, personally. I don't like them. IP: Logged |

I have Venus opposite Pluto. I don't become jealous easily and I certainly don't try to control others. In relationships, I give my partner space. The problem is that my partners tend to be jealous, control freaks who become extremely obsessive towards me. It has gotten to the point where I have feared for my life. My partners are similar to that of Jodi Arias except they're men. This is definitely not a pleasant aspect to have. You don't really notice its effect until you are in a relationship. IP: Logged |

That's how oppositions work...either you feel them by how others are around you, or you are that way. You experience yours through others. IP: Logged |

^ Exactly.I tend to get mesmerized / obsessed with Venus/Pluto guys. It's like I subconsciously recognize their Pluto and my own Pluto is set on fire. Dangerous, but oh how alluring.. IP: Logged |
