Let's see where do I begin! This was about five almost six years ago. It was the fall of 07, shortly before my eighteenth birth
day. I was in my bedroom probably doing my
homework when it happened! He happened!Kind
of took me off guard, I had the tv on when
all of sudden there he was! A hazel-eyed erotic vision swallowed in a sea of lush red! I could not avert my eyes from this male siren, he had me under a spell! He
had twin Aphrodites for dancers; one on
both sides and him in the middle holding a
shiny, purple guitar. I remember this was a
commercial promoting his latest album at the time,"Planet Earth". It's funny I was never a fan before, I heard all his popular hits when I was a little girl, but never had I thought him desirable until that moment! In fact, for a minute, I always thought he was gay! He always wore flamboyant, effeminate costumes and heavy make-up! Naturally, I assumed he was not heterosexual. Anyway, after the commercial went off I started drilling my mom with questions about if he was a good entertainer or what was his music like. I
was so eager about my new found interest that I asked my mom to buy his new CD for my birthday, nothing eles!Like I stated earlier, it's been six years and I still have not kicked the habit! One time I was riding in the car and begged my mother to stop by a Super K-mart we where about to pass just so I could see if they carried any of his CDS! Since then, I have bought two books, four movies, and a handful of albums. I have not been fortunate to see him in concert yet, but hopefully in the future. Also, I've had four dreams about
him; one of the dreams came true!It's weird
how at 17 going on 18 this happened. I've noticed the numer 8 as a prominent omen in my life! At the time I saw the commercial, I was 17! 1+7= 8! Eight is the number of change and transformation! I guess I transitioning from a girl to a woman?
My mother once said, "You act like Prince is your husband!" "Could my mother be on to something"?
