I looked online for this and can't seem to find anything on it. Does anyone know what these people would be like? Would they be similar to people with sun square mars? Anyone know anyone or have this personally?

I've known 3 people (men) with this conjunction. I haven't noticed anything special about it, apart from the fact that they usually know what they want and try to get it. Surprisingly, none of them are particularly straightforward or aggressive. But they do put effort into things that matter to them. I've noticed a bit of a selfish side to them, also.

House position here is very important - they'll probably focus on that house more than on any other house.

i have sun conjunct mars. it makes my personality very forceful and i'm pretty aggressive (not towards others, but in getting what I want). I suppose selfish in the sense that I want what I want and have the determination and single-mindedness to get it, regardless of who or what stands in my way. as a female, it's been a bothersome placement at times because the energy comes across very 'male,' especially in the workplace, where I can be very determined and bossy. it's s strong placement imo for getting what you want and going for things even in adversity. and my conjunction is in the 10H so it mainly comes across in career determination, although even in close relationships I always want to be the leader/boss

I have the conjunction and my partner has the square. We are impulsive, outspoken, lose temper quickly, get aggressive and have 0 anger management skills. We have a tendency to raise our hand. Action comes before rational thinking and this poses a major issue in our relationship as we mess up things because of our impatience and recklessness. His sun/mars are in fixed signs while mine are in a mutable sign so he takes more time than me to let go off the ego.

On a positive note, both of us are involved in some type of physical activity. He plays football for a local team but when younger, also played for the state. And i play badminton, do aerobics, tae bo and have been on quite a few weeklong national trekking expeditions. The difference is that his energy levels go down quickly while mine are consistent. I dont really get tired.

We also like a whole lot of adventurous martian things like toy car racing, speeding and racing on bikes, playing video games that involve fighting, etc.

Mars as the chaser means we pursue the object of affection. Not shy at all.Our libido can be quite high at times. Mine is more in control because of the mars/saturn sextile but his can be high all the time, when we are alone.

It's important for us to find an outlet for the excess energy and anger. I can be lying in the house like a carpet but then all of a sudden get restless and start fidgeting, complaining, etc. He too acts like a dormant volcano most of the time so i guess our energy is consistent only when we want it. Otherwise, it comes and goes. My anger release remedies are - break things, throw things, shout at everyone around, dream of how i am screwing the person. His anger release remedies are - hit the wall, bang his head...with the conjunction, you look for an outer release. The square is inner conflict.

Oh ok! I See! I have the square absolutely loathe it! I was curious how the conjunction played out if these people tended to be very tempermental as well? Lose it quickly and what not.

omg I totally relate. I am a force of destruction when I don't get what I want :-) I break stuff, throw my partner's stuff away, etc. but then i'm over it like 3 hours later ... it's destructive energy... I forgot that! my partner (a meek pisces) has asked me to not destroy his stuff any more. he came home after a fight recently and the first thing he asked was 'is all my stuff still in the same place?' after a previous fight all his things ended up broken and torn and in the dumpster. every gift he's ever given me has been destroyed after fights with him. so yeah, the conjunction is highly impulsive and destructive too...

Lol. I can so relate to the destructive thing. Ive broken quite a few things at home and the master bedroom door has been kicked down so many times, we had to replace it along with the case.
My s.o. is a pro tennis player and i was so mad at him once, i took an ax and chopped all his expensive tennis racquets to shreds, in front of him. He forgave me.

*Edit-
I should also add that Sun/Mars in Cancer...in the 8th house.

I agree with everything said on here. I have the conjunction too XD

Oh, and one thing I also observed, those with this conjunction are durable not only physically but also in other aspects.

My "friend" has this in Leo on the 7/8H cusp.

Kinda aggressive in his dealings with others, especially in personal relationships, and in the workplace. Likes to debate and compete.

Due to our synastry, he LOVES to "win" arguments with me, and gets antagonistic very quickly. What's worse is that it seems to turn him on, which only drains me. *sigh*

I wouldn't have thought that a sun mars conjunction in Cancer would produce such a destructive reaction? Wouldn't the Cancer influence water down the fiery nature of the planets? There must be differences between a Sun/Mars conjunction in, say, air, and one in water?

I have it in Gemini and let me tell you, unless there are other aspects causing it, I am extremely impatient, sarcastic and when mad, I yell, curse like a truck driver and will rip someone a new one. It is not pleasant. I am the queen of door slamming, as a kid and adult But this is only with my family. In other situations I try to be quiet about it but still swear under my breath.

This conjunction in earth or water has to be different, right?

I have this tight Mars-Sun conjunction in fiery Sagittarius. And boy oh boy, No one would ever want to cross me when I'm angry.

Can you picture that cartoony image of scary red mean dragons smoking fire through their nostrils and burning down everything in their path ? Yup ! That's me guys when I lose it. My cursing would make any proud sailor blush and did I told you how I like banging my head against any horizontal surface ? Not to mention the screaming and the poor abused chairs and the broken china, they stand witnesses to my horrible temper.
But I noticed that once I lose my temper,I get over it quickly. Then I laugh it off like it was nothing and I go asking myself " Did I just do that? oh well, anyway I think I'm feeling better now."
I was told it's a Sagittarius Mars thing but I'm grateful my bad temper never lasts long.

When I realy get angry, I destroy gifts I received from that person one by one. And a few moments after that, I really regret what I'd done ;(

I have the conjunction in cancer in 2nd/3rd house, but venus is added to the conjunction.

I think that venus soften the conjunction as I dont destroy things, but i was very fiery when i was a child and picked on fights with grown ups without fear..

I move from being pleasing and venusian to agressive.. since the conjunction falls almost 3rd house, my aggressiveness is more verbal (raising tone of voice, shouting, screaming, but i dont tend to say offensive words other than the noise)

I think is a sort of conflic to have the sun just between mars and venus, but it may be a blessing after all the descriptions i read previously.. lol..at least some tennis raquets and china are safe aroudn me.. lol

I have pMars conj nSun in Gemini.

As a lover I like to have personal effects as tokens of affection. It's useless because I end up destroying them in a fit of rage/and tears. Often over some misunderstanding.

My girlfriend has a tight conjunction of Mars and Sun in Cancer at 23 degrees in the 10th house.

My father has Mars and Sun in tight conjunction in 5 degrees of Scorpio in the 12th house.

I think the house position makes a HUGE difference. My girlfriend is extremely aggressive and IS a fighter. Her attitude and courage a very arian-like. She doesn't give a f uck. Often times, I have to step in and give her some of Saturns wisdom(saturn in the 1st house here) that using your mind, intellegence, will, and power is the best answer. I think I've helped her over these years-learn to use her head more as she is always very quick to quarrel with anyone who so much as gives her bad energy.

My father is a different story. He won't openly quarrel with anyone. Instead he resorts to this ****** passive aggressive behavior for no reason, then when he realizes he's in for a fight, he runs away like a coward. He's a little ***** that I can smash so easily and I have nothing to do with him and have no respect for him. As a father, as a person, as a man... One thing I noticed about him is he never gave up on being an ******* and have pondered sometimes "Do I have to beat this guy so bad that he won't even look at me the wrong way ever again-to get him to stop with his ******** ?"

Accordlingly, many Astrologers actually believe the Sun weakens Mars in conjunction. That Mars becomes invisible under the suns rays. Totally not true. But if Mars is in a bad house, or bad aspect, it doesn't matter what kind of triplicity, face, term, accidental diginity, or dignity it has, it's a weak Mars.

Oh yeah, I think a guy like Jesse Ventura is a good example of what Sun conjunct Mars can produce. This is definitely a configuration of a warrior, a fighter. As far as romance, my girlfriend chased after me and would not accept no as an answer. Honestly she was everything I was looking for and has been everything I've dreamed of, 6 years later and I don't feel any bit different.

It gives you fast reflexes too, at least in virgo it does:P I have the conjunction i virgo in 4th house. I'm pretty fast, I always thought I would have been good at selfdefense sports, if I choose that career. But as a child I was more interested in horseback riding, and of course I always had to chose the wildest horses who threw me of constantly, but I liked to be wild. (I still do)
My mars is badly aspected, it's square uranus and opposition moon. The more lose connection is square jupiter and saturn. (10 degrees)
I like to get my energy out by making sports, doing something extremely wild and dangerous or having sex.
I love hiking and have been on many trips out in the wild alone where I walked in the mountains. Some people say it's crazy (especially my mom lol) but I really enjoy to be out in nature, cause it's dangerous out there but it makes me feel alive!
Sun conjunct mars has to find a way to channel it's energy or the energy is wasted with arguments and conflicts.
It also usually gives some really masculine traits, and sometimes it makes me feel like I'm a man, or that my life would have been better if I was born a male. There is so many things I want to do and places I want to travel, but I just can't because I'm a blond, tall girl, and it's really annoying.
