I suppose that'd be the Moon - feeling secure and safe, "at home".

The house of the Moon is very important. Aspects point to what gets on our way to happiness (Saturn - fear, insecurity; Pluto - control, intensity; Uranus - moodswings, sudden changes: Neptune - insecurity, idealisation, confusion; etc) but also what we need in order to feel satisfied emotionally / nurtured on a soul level. Again, aspects - even the hard ones - point to strengths and weaknesses, so they must be worked with and expressed positively. You can't deny an aspect, even if it's a hard aspect, it has to be expressed positively for your Moon to feel safe and fulfilled.
Flowing aspects are easier to express and can point to areas that provide us with good feelings naturally (Jupiter - traveling, religion, foreign cultures; Mars - action, sports, sex ; Venus - affection, relationships, social events; Mercury - communication, intellectual pursuits; and so on).

Add to that the North Node (it isn't called the "Lunar Node" for nothing!) because it points to an area of life that can potentially make us feel satisfied and like we "fit in" and are in the right place (it has its challenges at first of course, but is supposed to be rewarding nonetheless).

Despite an Aquarius Moon, I have a H6 Moon and I really, really like having a schedule and some degrees of regularity to go by. I do indeed do things on impulse without warning, but I also thrive well on a clear set of goals.

So I think the Moon is important for well-being.

I would think that easy Sun, Venus, or Jupiter aspects or a prominent Leo, Libra, or Sagittarius would be more likely to be happy. A Fire or Air moon is more likely to be in an upbeat, IMO. Soft Saturn aspects NOT aspecting the benefics would be even better. Neptune aspects give that rose-colored outlook, which helps too.

I have Neptune-Jupiter conj in the 1st, and I feel pretty fortunate for the most part. I have Sun-Venus conjunct, Libra Midheaven. I also have an Aries Moon--my storms blow over very quickly, and I'm back to cracking jokes and daydreaming.
