I ask this because when I use the Placidus method, my N. Node is just inside the 8th house (cusp of the 7th & 8th). Using the Koch method, it is in the 7th.

I happen to feel a lot of Plutonian energy (Pluto/BML/Juno in Scorpio), as well as Venusian energy (Venus/Mars/Saturn in the 7th), so I can't really intuitively tell which is right.

Being that the nodes have a great deal of importance, I'd really like to get this right!
Thanks in advance for your replies!

I don't know the technical answer. Placidus seems more accurate for me.

The most important things are your asc/desc/MC/IC degrees and what's near those, which side they fall on in relationship to these points in your chart. These do not change regardless of house system.

Yes, I completely agree. And there are SO many house systems other than those you mentioned. I find that when planets/points fall around the cusps of the 2, 3, 5, 6, 8, 9, 11, or 12 houses, that EITHER placement seems to work! Perhaps that's why there are all those different house systems.

PERSONALLY, I use equal house. It's been more accurate for me and my palsies. Try that one, maybe?

I don't like the houses much. I see the planets near my ascendant being the most important anyway, and they are all dark so that says everything. Who needs houses for that?
