What sign is she? Maybe you could correlate that to your theories.

But yeah, if you base it be sign, I agree that Leos can be really mean. I have this friend who's a Leo. She's usually sweet-natured but damn girl, what goes on inside her head is a completely different story. Tick her off and she will use every available weapon that she can against you. You'd think that no one can ever break her self-confidence and that is her greatest advantage because you can't use any emotionally hurting tactics against her. She basically has no flaw, except for her body size but then again, she doesn't give a single damn about that.

Aside from Leos, I think fire signs have a tendency to be the most outwardly mean. My mom who is an Aries dominant (Sun, ASC and mercury all in this fiesty sign) can be very mean, especially in verbal arguments. The worst enemy I had was a Sag. She was MEAN to the bones. As in SUPER mean. She doesn't fight face-to-face though, but she stabs nastily from behind.

Disclaimer to the public: I'm not saying everyone is like that, just sharing my own experiences.

And Capricorn itself is a sign that often runs right over people and doesn't feel bad in the slightest - I've especially noticed this more in women.

He has moments of "coldbloodedness", but it's really his Mars/Pluto square that makes him really antagonistic. He loves to pick fights, then flip it around on me. Fighting also arouses him, but drains me. I also see that he leans to the side of traditional gender roles, slightly misogynistic.
