I can attest for above mentioned mars/venus + asc and Uranus....

I have Mars sextile Venus; conj Asc; Sextile Dsc; Sextile Uranus.

I have a VERY hard time with women in general, possibly due to my pluto squares to moon and sun (?) but they seem to like me..

I've seen a tight Mars/Venus conj near the Asc (but out of sign and in the 12th) in action in someone who (especially when younger) got all kinds of attention from both genders.

And I don't know about "attracted to", but for a bit in my late teens through mid-twenties (pretty much until I had a kid ;-) ) I was hit on in equal measure by guys and girls.

I'm asking this because I have non of the supposedly " sexual " planets ( mars, pluto, venus ) aspecting my ascendant or resides in the first house, except for a nasty ASC-venus square.

I have Venus sextile Mars, Sun sextile Mars, Mars conj. ASC, Moon opposition Pluto, Moon (11H) trine Uranus, and Uranus in the 7th. I do tend to get that "look," and vibe from lesbians, etc. They are attracted to me, and I get along with gay people easier and click a lot faster than straight people.

I attract homosexuals who choose to keep their sexual orientation hidden from others but think they can confide in me. And no, they aren't attracted to me(though I wish they were...sigh). But you never know...I was brought up in a society where homosexuality equals death and now, I'm in a society where homosexuality is taboo though legal.
