Horary question. What if querent and quesited are exactly conjunct, the orb is 5 minutes. But separating! Does this mean - no? Or not? The chart itself is very radical, ascendant describe querent perfectly. IP: Logged |

My understanding is that if the aspect is seperating, it would mean 'no'. But unless the moon is representing either questor or quesited, then the aspects to the moon should also be considered.IP: Logged |

I was having the same question today, and after googling a bit, it seems that the aspect, should he be still within 6 or 16 minutes of orb, though separating, is considered as perfecting.IP: Logged |

I read something similar. I also read that if the aspect is separating, it has already come to pass. Basically, depending on the question, it can be looked at as a yes but in the recent past. Anyone else ever read anything like that?

In my case it's unlikely because it hasn't happened yet. But in fact 2 days ago something happened that possibly might lead to what i was asking. I guess i have to see what aspects Moon makes for timing issues. Nevertheless, i'll post the result. IP: Logged |

Well, i looked again, the orb is actually 8 minutes, but it doesn't influence anything i guess. The planets involved are Mercury and Jupiter. So it applies to Lilie's theory, Jupiter is huge, after all. I'll take it as yes. So many coincidences can't be just nothing.IP: Logged |

Imo, Separation is a no unless there is moon or saturn doing something in the chart that helps the querent get the quesited.IP: Logged |

The reasoning behind it that the bodies are still joined, and the separation is not visible (yet). I liked Hera`s explanation on this though (on my thread in PR), that it signifies the intention of Mercury to leave. It seems that you and me both have asked the question at the same time, as in my horary Mercury, my significator, is also conjunct his signigifactor Jupiter, just with a few minutes separating. Maybe in my case it denotes a certain inner detachment from the outcome. it`s nice if it happens, and if not, well, there is always another time. lol IP: Logged |

Yes, Ceridwen, indeed! Mine was some minutes earlier, but still! Haha. So i read your thread - i'm Mercury too. So it means that Mercury has the upper hand because it's faster and can not run away if it decides not to? As for Venus - at least in my case it IS another woman, it's his ex and it seems that she wants to reunite again and he has feelings for her as well. But as from dignities i suppose that he likes me too, and if i'd approach him, it would go well. (this i took from your thread ) IP: Logged |

yes, from the horary chart it is us who have got the upper hand so to speak. Both, Jupiter and Venus, are ruled by Mercury, whcih translates into keenly interested in Mercury. Actually Jupiter in Gemini doesn´t even really like Venus, at least when it comes to dignities and reception. IP: Logged |

One more question then: is 8th house used for sexual relationship? (there's no way i see this in 5th, personally for me it's always 8th) IP: Logged |

Sexual relationship is in both houses, 5th and 8th, (though in HOrary only the 5th is being used, as this is medieval tradition).
There are of course differences. 5th house sexual relationship is more the playful expression of your sexual Self, with or without a person. Actually there is not another person present in the 5th house, as we only MEET our significant other in the 7th house. It relates to sex in the way, that sex can be an expression of your Self. So it is more centred on yourself than another person. In the 8th house we have sexual intimacy, that is being SHARED with a partner, and it usually is experienced in more intense, deeper, sometimes scary (because of the intensity) way. It is the house where the marriage becomes consummated, and very committed (including sexual intimacy).

Yes, if you are asking about an "Other", it is always 7th house. Had it been about a friend (11th house), brother (3rd house), sometimes the 5th house is being used if it is just a crush or lover; however even horary astrologers have vastly different opinions on this one, and I am for the most part agreeing with this: "Do not, I repeat, do NOT use the 5th house to represent a person in love questions! The 5th house can describe sexual activity, but it rarely describes the person with whom you are active! A significator in the 5th shows an interest in sexual matters or light ‘fun’, rather than a serious relationship." http://www.astrologyweekly.com/forum/showthread.php?t=12782
However some use the 5th house for the lvoer and seem to succeed with that. So I guess it doesn`T hurt to risk a peek at it now and then.

Thanks! I guess in this situation it would be 7th house, as i asked about a concrete person.
